I'm a 3.5 D&D GM looking for players to test themselves against my home brew "Storm Watch" campaign. Old and new players are welcome, as well as Pre-made groups and pick up groups.
The Storm Watch is a constant race against the clock, and it's challenge is based on if you decide to race against it or not. A group sauntering through the serfs of BuzanBard will find an entertaining and relatively unchallenging campaign. Those who challenge the storm will find themselves starved, tired, and bleeding.
"Storm Watch" contains multiple routes, optional quests and mini-bosses. It's also quite long, and most groups could probably not finish it in a single sitting.
It's a beautiful and well detailed world, filled with perils and treasures. As well as special events that many groups will simply have to avoid.
Setting:
"In the coastal city of BuzanBard, storms create a constant threat on the lives of it's citizens. However, the great Astromancers of the magic guilds keep it well informed of the intensity and path of the storm. Storm Watchers are employed to bring warning of the coming storm to the surfs and towns, who are not fortunate enough to employ their own Astromancer.
The road of a Storm Watcher is not easy. Wild beasts and starvation are the least of their worries. But, with great challenge brings great prestige and reward. Many heroes bold the Storm Watch to gain reputation in the great lands, others for the gold prize that is promised. A storm brews over the ocean. The mages come down from their towers to bring urgent message to the king. Who will brave the Storm Watch?"
So if you're interested in playing a Storm Watch campaign, create a group and send me a PM. Games can be organized as soon as the day after applying. Players new to D&D 3.5 can use http://dnd3rd.sourceforge.net/ to create a character to apply. Just remember to bring lots of survival gear and food. You're going to need it.
Applying groups should send me their character sheets. Individual players looking for groups can apply below, but should be organized by players.
Good luck, brave storm watchers...
