Anyone interested in running PFS tonight 3 Aug 8PM (CDT, UTC-5). New GM. First Steps 1

GM is experienced in playing Pathfinder, and has GMed D&D 2.0. Fairly new to PFS, but he has played a lot lately. Please come and join the fun.
Is this a one shot? What level do players start at? Could I get some more info please?
I would love to play if I knew what time we would be playing!
It is a one shot, Pathfinder Society scenario. This scenario requires 1st level characters and is designed as an introduction into the Pathfinder Society. The Pathfinder Society has more structured play, and stricter rules enforcement than home games, but we have a lot of fun, and the modules take about 4 to 5 hours to complete. Afterward the event gets reported to the Society and each player gets a Chronicle sheet detailing what treasure is available to the character. How much prestige, gold, and XP were gained. With society, normally each session is 1 XP, when your character gains 3 XP you raise a level. It doesn't take long to setup a character. Registration with the Society on the paizo.com IS required. There are also pre-generated characters for each level, available on the site. The Pathfinder Society is an excellent way to find a game at random days times, and games are often going on at odd hours, like the middle of the night. If you are interested, please give us a try. We don't bite, and we have a lot of fun.
8:00PM Central Daylight time, tonight, August 3rd. Possibly another session later, if some or more interest.
Today is the 4th, not the 3rd. Nitpicking aside I'd be interested in joining up if you'd have me.
Yes, We'll have you. And I've been mixed up for several days on which day is what. Thanks for reminding me what is what.
What kind of character you playing?
I'm interested in a spell caster. I have a new cleric I'd love to play that I am transferring to my pathfinder society page. I could also play a sorcerer or wizard if that fits better.
A cleric is good. My healing witch can back you up. I could vary her spells a little bit that way.
I would like to play too I can sign up for PFS right away
I've never done anything with PFS. Do you need my number or something before we get started?
Sure, I'll come again.
It would help, I had one person who never gave it, but usually you do it in game or in an email during. Once he gets the campaign up, I will send the link, like a normal roll20 adventure.
Cool, thanks Sean. You are the 4th.
Ghosters and Sean whatcha you bringing?
Gunslinger.
I was thinking something Tanky. Do you have the link to the pregen characters I cant seem to find them
Yes. on the pregens. give me a sec.

Cool. I am some what new to Pathfinder but I played the crap outta 3.5 so at least I know the system lol.
Im gonna go with the fighter
To play this adventure you have to sign up at: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety There are pregens, and the rules are similar but a bit expanded.
3.5 and Pathfinder are very similar as far as I know, One important thing to note is that moving in a diagonal goes 5ft, 15ft, 20ft, 30ft, etc.
There are more class options in Pathfinder. Makes the Clerics and Fighters feel included now.
The roll20 link is: https://app.roll20.net/join/176045/kIn5Kg
Heartagun, if you want to join the Society and play tonight, I can back out. I'm his wife, and I've played this plenty of times. I also GM and can apply my points to the character and level her that way.
Clerics and fighters have always had tons of inclusion, I don't know why people always assume they don't. You can do a lot with a fighter and cleric respectively.
You can do a lot with them, but other than cleric's spells, neither has a lot of extra special abilities. Pathfinder gives fighters armor, fear, and weapon bonuses. Clerics get to channel energy (turning is still available by feat), and expanded domain abilities.
You can have 7 people in a party, You know that right?
Didn't realize that. I thought only 6 were allowed. That helps then.
I am going to have to drop out, something just came up that needs my attention.
7 is the absolute max. With 3 being the absolute minimum, With the GM playing a pregen. But then APL comes into play ( Average Party Level ), If you have 7 its APL+1= Tier
As a first timer i doubt 7 is a good idea any way, but sorry to hear you can't join Heartagun.
