Hey, What kind of campaign are you thinking of running? Boxed adventure? Home-made campaign? Anyways, this is something I'd like to play in. The time-slot works for me and I'm a pretty 'serious' gamer. I, you know, read the rulebooks and know what my spells do and stuff. I've been a DM for years and years and would LOVE to be a player. I'm in my 30s and I'm a pretty good team player. I'm a pretty balanced player, I like roleplay (I think it's vital), I enjoy combat, I don't really enjoy mysteries in D&D games though. I like to read the books, get ideas and work with my DM to create interesting characters. As for character ideas, well, I'm pretty flexible there. Depends on what the other players want to be, as well as the setting and feeling of the game. My base idea is to play a Cleric (just to make sure the heals are covered) or whatever the group is missing. I try to play very traditional characters, but I try to give them a bit of a twist. A FIGHTER who is a war veteran, tired of killing other men, looking to put his sword to better uses. Travels with a faithful dog. A ROGUE who grew up on the streets, full of abandonment issues, looking for a place to belong, defiant in the face of danger. A CLERIC who is pious and thoughtful, an apt cook and a caring, consoling individual, having lost their family to tragedy. A WIZARD who comes from an aristocratic line, aloof and charming, but possessing keen intellect and incredible focus. A lot of those ideas I refined into full on characters, but, as I said, I prefer to tailor my character to the group and setting. Hope you guys give me a chance. Good luck with your game in any case!
