Campaign Info: Gen 0 (33 years after the nuclear and Biological Attacks) 80 TU Budget to buy starting Gear Stat Buy 30 points(Everyone is human +2 to one stat) Core Books:d20 Modern, d20 Apocalypse(If you need these and other source material email me) Population Break Down of New Alamo: Total Pop: 4201, 3000 Civilians, 100 Police/Emergency Services, 200 Military Combat, 700 Military Support and logistics Campaign Story: The Year is 2062 and the world is in ruins. The Eastern Seaboard was destroyed by nukes and biological attacks. The United States as a government ceased to exist in 2029, 2 years after the initial attack. Hundreds of nukes peppered the rest of the nation and disease killed off 80% of the US population(90%of the world population), though things have stabilized in the last decade. Fallout has faded and even though many hot spots still exist the outbreaks of anthrax and smallpox that ravaged the nation have burned out. You are the descendants of the United States Military, survivors of the various branches of the military and there families that made it while communications still worked. Those that had survived the Nukes and diseases and were lucky enough to not have been deployed over seas helped build your community. No one, that your group knows of, has ever made it back from Europe, the Middle East or Asia. Most of the initial survivors were from JSOC or associated with special operations in one way or another. Other branches and specializations have trickled in over the years but the most of the survivors were SpecOps. Your group is situated in Southern California. In the foothills 25 miles north of Camp Pendleton (a marine base). Your people had dug deep into the mountains right after the attack. Commandeering what they needed from Camp Pendleton, including heavy earth moving equipment as well as men, supplies and munitions. They rode out the worst of the acid rain and fallout in the ever expanding cavern system. In the last 10 years the small camp outside the immense underground city has grown into a city in its own right. The city is called New Alamo and is governed by a Mayor(Derek Washington and a 5 man council. 4 civilians(Mark Harrowitz-Hospital Director, Emil Chavez-Farming Co-op Chairman, Rudy Martinez-Head Civil Engineer, Abigail Adams-Chief of Police, these are all elected positions) and the Commander of the military forces Col. John T. Marsh(non-election). The New Alamo Military fights under a US flag, adheres to the UCMJ(mostly) and was renamed the New Alamo Strike Command(NASC). New Alamo has a population of 4,201 with about 1,000 living in the surface city. New Alamo currently has electricity, water and finite natural resources but because of the EMP during the war all active electronics at the time were destroyed. Depending on what types of characters you choose to play and what role playing decisions you make will decide where you fit into this group but you will be working to better New Alamo. Good and Neutral alignments only. I prefer good. You can make a character before hand but we will be spending the first session creating your characters and then starting the campaign. If you have one in hand all the better but because of the campaign you will have extra benefits not usually included. We will start at level one unless you take an age modifier. As 1st generation after the fall you can choose to be pure breed or mutant(people are uncomfortable with obvious mutations, some hostile). Citizenship is awarded for 4 years of service or can be awarded by the council. If you are not in the military you will lose the right to vote and certain privileges.
