Edited 1450901835
Based on the availability of the majority of players we'll schedule the game for either December 26th, 27th or 28th. If interested PM me your availability in order of preference.   So the plan is now to play on Sunday the 27th at 7pm CST. We have three spots open if you're interested. PM your interest in playing. EXCURSION TO THE GREY MOUNTAINS WHEN: December 27 at 7pm CST - Midnight CST CHARACTERS: Provided WHERE: Roll 20 for room; Skype for audio SYSTEM: Savage Worlds It is the Third Age 2004. The Balrog has claimed Khazad-Dum for 24 years now. Afterwards, the dwarves of the House of Durin had settled in the Grey Mountains at Thundercleft and at Erebor the Lonely Mountain. It has now been 10 years since the fall of Thundercleft. No reliable news has ever come from there to detail how the hall had fallen. Some say it was due to the orc tribes left behind after the fall of Angmar or the increasing orc armies spewing forth from the depths of Mount Gundabad. Others say the few remaining dragons of the Grey Mountains had been disturbed by the dwarf mines. Whatever the cause, King Thrain of Erebor has ruled to support no excursion to the fallen dwarf kingdom. He offers as evidence the disastrous failure of Nain I's attempt to reclaim Khazad-Dum from the Balrog. Narvi, is a dwarf that has learned of a great dwarf silver mine in the Grey Mountains known as the Silverplunge. He has been outspoken of Thrain's command to not visit the area of the fallen Thundercleft. He has been looking for those willing to brave the dangers for great reward. He has only found a few dwarves willing to disobey Thrain's edict. So he has decided to seek others outside the dwarven halls to help in his endeavor. Although it greatly pains him to do so, he will take those not of dwarf blood if it allows him to claim the majestic prizes of Silverplunge.
We are now looking for four more players.
I have three more spots open.
I'd love to play, if it's Saturday!
We had settled on Sunday the 27th, but let me check in with the players so far and see if Saturday would work.
I can't play Saturday but its fine with me if the group moves to that day
Sorry, to anyone who can't play on Sunday. I am committing to playing the game on Sunday from 7pm - midnight CST. I'm still looking for two players.
I'm still looking for a couple of players. For those people who've already let me know they're playing Sunday, here are the character choice options. Please PM me your top three choices.  NARVI IRONBEARD: Narvi is cousin to Azakhad, lord of the Silverplunge mines. His goal is to either save his cousin or claim the mine as his family's right. He is from Erebor (Lonely Mountain). KHALIN: Khalin is a long time friend to Narvi. He is suspicious of everyone until they earn his trust. Narvi has done that and he has sworn to aid his friend in this task forbidden by his king. He is from Erebor (Lonely Mountain). NORIN SHIELDCLEAVER: Norin is a adventurous dwarf who has been won over by Narvi's stories about Silverplunge. He's boastful, confidant and ready to charge into the fray. He believes the honor of Narvi's family is more important than King Thrain's edict. Plus he is a dwarf of the Iron Hills. BARIC: Baric is border guard soldier from Dale. He has abandoned his duties for the lure of this great dwarven treasure. He will risk everything to acheive his dreams of fortune.  FIDORIC: Fidoric is a Northman of the Gramuz tribe in the far north. He's known as an Ice Mage. A waning knowledge, to be able to call upon the forces of the cold spirits of the north. He senses a dark spirit growing in strength within the Grey Mountains that is disturbing the cold spirits he serves. His rune stone castings indicate that his path is with these dwarves. RAENOR: Raenor is a Dunedan Ranger from the fallen kingdom of Rhudaur. With the Witch-King of Angmar no longer commanding the orc tribes of the north, it is odd that they spread out now into the Grey Mountains. Is some new threat gathering them in force? He has been sent to scout the Grey Mountains and assess if there is a growing threat. The offer of the dwarves, serves his purpose, and he need not travel the trecherous mountains alone. AMROTH: Amroth is a Silvan elf from Aradhrynd (King Thranduil's kingdom) in Northern Mirkwood. He is a serious minded and loyal servant to Thranduil. He's a cautious and steadfast scout of Northern Mirkwood. Thranduil is curious about this dwarven excursion and sends Amroth to assist but learn more for his king. Plus, Thranduil might have one additional task for him to complete on this journey. BORDO STOUTFELLOW: Bordo is a Stoor hobbit from Bree. With the former lands of Arthedain becoming wilder with each passing year, he decided to join a troop of men heading east. He joined on as their cook. His travels have made him hardened and stubborn. He speaks bluntly and with more aggression then one would expect of his small stature. While he worked in Dale, he had served Narvi and his partners during a trade outing. Narvi was fond of his cooking and direct nature. Narvi's offer of vast wealth was enough to get Bordo to once again dare the dangerous roads of the wild lands in the north.
I'd be interested in Baric or the ranger
Still openings for two players for Sunday night one shot
We're playing tonight from 7 pm CST to 1 am CST. We still have room to allow two more players.
I wouldn't mind playing if you don't mind a newbie to this type of system I mostly play D&D 5e.
I'd like to join! Any avalible characters.
Let me know if you are seeking any additional players. I'll admit I'm still learning the savage rule system. I have a couple of games under my belt. However I can assure you my roleplaying is up to par. I like any of the Dwarves.
