Hi. I'm a professional GM who lives in Germany with more than 13 years of experience as a game master. I'm very story oriented, specialized in plot twists and character development and I can run a game in any kind of world and mood. I'm very creative, friendly and if you're new to a game system or to roleplaying, don't worry: I've got a good method to teach you how each system works. Currently I have three paid games set up with full players: Two take place in the Avatar/Legend of Korra universe and one in a Game of Thrones kind of mood. So the question is: What do you want to play? There's an official campaign you've been dying to play with a character in D&D? I can do that. You've always dreamed of playing in the world of your favorite TV show? Let me look at the show and we can get started. You want a story set in the universe of a manga with a specific mood or a specific system? Great, I'm free any time of the week for that. I'm fluent in english and french and I know some english game systems perfectly well: D&D, Anima: Beyond Fantasy, Traveller, World of Darkness (all versions), Cthulhutech, Scion, X Corps, Z Corps, Doctor who RPG, Unknown Armies, God Enemies, Don't Rest your head... But since I'm french, I also know a lot of awesome games that aren't known to the English role playing scene: Sens Hexalogie (Dark, apocalyptic and philosophical science fiction), Trinités (a modern game inspired on a lot of historical facts where you play an immortal fighting against the winning darkness), In Nomine Satanis (play as an angel or a demon in a secret ongoing war set up in the modern world) . So if you want to try something new and innovative, those games can really surprise you. I'm also very excited to try new systems and games if that's what you want to play (Warhammer & Warhammer 40K, Shadowrun, Star wars, Secrets of the 7th Sea, Call of Cthulhu...). As a professional GM, I offer top quality story and settings. I always learn the game system perfectly before a game and take the time to prepare events that will put forward each PC in turn and let YOU shine in the spotlight. My fees are modest: 2,50$ per player per hour (First game is ALWAYS free and if you get a friend to join one of my games, you get a free play session). This allows me time to prepare each game to suit my player's needs, buy the books and pay for the pro subscription on the site. I'll be posting a video here soon for you to have a look at my play style. Send me a message if you're interested or if you have questions. Ideally you would already have a group of friends who want to participate in the same game and you could during the evenings of the week. I'm based in Europe but I can play at any time (sleep is for the WEAK!). Want to play weekly, 2 or 1 time per month? That's fine. Here are the ideas I currently have for games: One piece game with the Anima system Supernatural game with the new WoD system Changelings in Berlin with the new WoD system Werewolf in Toulouse with the new WoD system Endless, a campaign about a spaceship filled with immortals with the Traveller system Trinités, the official campaign Sens Hexalogie, the official campaign An Anima game set in the universe of "Return of Kings" Thanks for reading ans have a nice day.
What may help your pitch is video or writeups of games you've run.
Hi. Thanks Robert. ^^ @ Golden, I need to recover and edit a video of the first Avatar game I made. I have every intention of posting it here as soon as I can.
Charging an hourly rate, while on paper smart, can result in a bit of a forced atmosphere. You may have some players trying to force sessions to be done early to avoid getting charged extra. Have you thought of a fixed amount per session, with a cap on how long a session can last? I am part of a paid campaign and we seem to really like this model.
I've considered it but hourly rates just seem to fit more. After all making a session shorter means it's cheaper but it also means you get less time to play, so less fun, less adventure, less character development. So I don't think players would want to shorten a game. May I ask how much a session is on your campaign?
$10. So what a four hour session would be at your rate - although we usually go slightly longer, probably a five hour average per session.
