Third Pathfinder Society GM needed for Thursday October 11th, 2012 @ 7:30 PM CDT [-5 GMT]

Howdy: I know it is short notice but I lost a GM for a third online table of "Murder on the Silken Caravan" <a href="http://paizo.com/store/downloads/pathfinder/pathfinderSocietyScenarios/season0/v5748btpy84k2" rel="nofollow">http://paizo.com/store/downloads/pathfinder/pathfinderSocietyScenarios/season0/v5748btpy84k2</a> Would an experienced PFS GM be available to run the scenario for the third table of 5 players? Bah, what the hell... I can run a pathfinder game for you tomorrow. Know that this is my first pathfinder game, but I have plenty of 3.5e experience, so it can't be too hard.

Just so you know, I don't have a copy of the material needed to DM this campaign scene... any way you can get the stuff for me?

Well I guess I might as well throw my name into the hat too, I have some PFS and pathfinder experience, but no GMing history to really speak of (if I did, I'd have replied sooner) I've played 10 scenarios so far in PFS and its probably about time for me to start GMing a bit. I would need the scenario if you want me to GM though. I do not however own any of the beastiarys, so I'd have to use the prd for that.

Howdy: Thanks guys - I can get you a copy of the materials. If you sign up on the Warhorn site above I will email you via the email address you list there. (Just let me know your user IDs). Would you guys consider working together on this one? Nathan could GM the game, and Dylo you can play and help him out with any PFS specific things that might come up. This is a "Season 0" scenario, so it is actually using D&D 3.5 rules (Pathfinder as a seperate RPG did not exist yet) - so you should be good. Let me know if that works for you guys and we will work this out. Much appreciated, - Jesse

Awesome - there should be 5 players at the table with Dylos - and everyone seems to be right at lvl 2, so that works perfectly. Sending the Scenario. Dylos can you sign up on Warhorn too - just so I can get the tables sorted - Thanks guys!

Are these official Pathfinder Society events, if so that is great news, does this mean that all information recorded at the end of the session will be officially applied to the player's characters? I am a member of the PFS, but not a PFS GM, I have vast GMing experience, having run D&D or Pathfinder games continuously for about 35 years. That said if you would need someone to run an event who is not at this time an official PFS GM, I would possibly be available for now or future events. Jeff F. aka Ajax

Anyone can officially GM a PFS event, there is no process to officially become a GM, and it is my impression that it is an official event (as anyone can make an official PFS event) and I am also assuming that there will be chronicle sheets.

Howdy, Ajax - Dylos is correct - this is a registered PFS group with Paizo and all Chronicle Sheets and reporting will occur as they would in a "real world" PFS game. :) I will keep you as an "interested party" :) for future GMing needs - it looks like our little online group is growing by leaps and bounds.
