Hello! As in the title, I'm looking for a group to play with. I've DMed one or two games in 4th edition and I (somewhat) know the basic rules for 5th edition. As a player, I'm completely adverse to min-maxing or powergaming and I prefer to roleplay whichever character I create. When I create a character, I don't create the one with the most broken abilities or highest stats. Instead, I create a character that is interesting, one with strengths, weaknesses, and inherent flaws. However, if needed, I can play whatever role or class the DM or party requires me to. I am completely willing to converse and get along with the DM and other players, and try to avoid being "that guy" at all costs. For a DM, I'm looking for anyone who can provide a fun and interesting experience for themselves and the players, not one who is anal-retentive about the rules nor one extremely lenient about them either.
