Looking for a good group to adventure with ( long term :) )

Hello everyone , i am looking for a group to play with on saturdays , thats the only day i can play unfortunatly due to my work and the very same reason i had to cancel games i used to play in -.- , but now i want to play again atleast on the day i can hehe , so a little about me , i am almost 30 years and spanish , but my english has been good so far to play with other people ,and if i dont know the word i can allways make it posible to be understud one way or another :P , i like medieval games mostly and the expirience i have wich is not much is with DnD 3.5 due to videogames like Neverwinter nights 2 , 2 edition due to baldurs gate and icewindales games , and some from 4 edition since those where the rules i was playing with my last groups , even though i said i like medieval games it does not mean i am not open to space games , i loved Mass Effect for example and could be open to something like it , i live in italy so my time is Gtm +1 , i know mostly everyone is american here but times can allways be worked out :) , i like more Rp then fight fight fight to be honest , and i think i am easy to get along with , favorite class is paladin probably because i tend to play goody two shoes characters :P , dont know what else to say really , if you guys have any questions let me know , and if you need an extra player on the day i am available then dont be shy :) Aledas

have you gone through the LFG listings for a game that might interest you there? If you haven't give it a try because sometimes GM's don't go looking for players. A lot of the time, there is 10+ players looking for slot in a game so you have to be a little more aggressive in your search for a game. I'm not running anything that has a spot right now so I can't help you. Good luck.

Hi Metro , thank you for the tip , unfortunatly the ones i have seen in the LFG are eather full , or to late for me , or eather didint catch my atention , still there are not many games on it :P  , eventually something will show up , i just hope its sooner then later hehe , thanks anyways and happy gaming :)

If there aren't many games that interest you at your available times, have you considered attempting to GM one?  It's not easy, but it can be an incredibly rewarding experience.  Roll20 actually has some modules you can use, taking away a major part of the work, and there are nearly always interested players. What days and times are you available?  I can't promise anything, but I might (maybe.  I'll know tonight) have an opening for Thursday evening (7 MST) Dresden, and I'm completely open to players not familiar with the system or setting.

Jack : i dont mind at all if you wish to join Jack , after all we are all here to play :)  the only problem is that i am only available in saturdays and some saturdays only after 4pm gtm+1 because of work shifts :S , apart from that ill be more then glad to have more people join me in my search :) Steve : thanks for the offer Steve but i am afraid i cant make it on thursday due to work , saturday its the only day and the reason its becoming so dificult to find a game hehe , i have only played a few sessions of DnD so far , so i have not much expirience as a player and would not even want to think the caos that would be to Dm as well haha , so if your game will happend on thursdays then give someone else the invite and atleast that way someone can have fun :) happy gaming everyone and happy hunting to the rest of us that are still looking for a game ;)

Hey I would be interested in joining this group also. I'm an experienced DnD player with 8 years of experience and I'm looking for something to fit my long term needs. Also if possible I would like it a lot if we kept the group small. 4 players + 1 DM, it keeps the skype chat clear and every player is able to play to the max instead of playing in a party of then were you have 2-3 people talking all the time and the rest quiet.

Hey Apichai , sorry i didint reply earlier , been busy and just got from work now , danm night shifts xD , anyways i am glad to see more people interested and its allways good to have someone with expirience in the game , since as i said mine comes mostly from DnD videogames and a few sessions ive played here on Roll20 , do you have a prefference when it comes to Dnd as 4e , 3.5 etc ? i think 5 players + dm works really good as well , as long as the people have the common sence enough to give time to everyone in the group and the Dm can handle it offcourse :P , looks like so far we could be 3 counting you and Jack , just need a Dm and i am sure the other player we need would show up quick :) Wile we wait i guess it could be good to see what kind of characters we are into , i am more of a close combat character with little to none magic , but paladin would be my favorite and also that is why i like to play in good partys :)

I personally have no preference for what DnD edition it would be. In terms of classes I can do anything.

I have a conistant 3-5 player gruop , who is more about story than battles , our current campaign is a beastlands custom 3.5 edition.

Well personally I like story heavy campaigns 

I know it is not peoples first choice of gaming but has any of you thought about going the play by post game style? It is slower than normal games but it is a method to play when your work schedule wont allow you to game much.

I might be able to run a weekly Saturday game for those of you in Europe. The game would be 1st edition AD&D + house rules. Old school gaming, role playing is encouraged. Combat is important but not necessarily the main focus. If you're interested, send me a PM with the times you are available (GMT) and anything else you want to say about yourself.

Well unfortunatly after a wile the group where i finally played have disbanded , so once again i find myself looking for a game , details are at the top of the post for myself , if you are interested in having me please let me know :)
