I'm new to Roll 20, and like Ted J. above, I played D&D in the late 70s / 80s, and recently got re-interested when I introduced it to my son this Christmas. I'd be interested in DM-ing on Roll 20, and have set up the 5e Starter Adventure in Roll 20 to figure out the tool. I look for a group that is in it for the fun. Obviously rules help keep everything consistent. IMO, if a rule gets missed but the gang is having a good time, so be it. I'd rather see people learn D&D in a fun atmosphere (assuming they are new to the game), then worry about being 100% accurate with the rules down the road. IMO, the other way (rules first, fun later), means a lot of people leave the game before getting to know it :< . Best of luck, and let me know if interested!
