Making Sure You Get Awards Most of these awards are triggered when you do something that is intended to alert a GM This is usually through the form of making a post. Since we check the new posts it is easy for us to reward them as we see them If you fail to make a post then we might not reward you. Here are a couple areas where you might not realize you need to make a post Downtime Logs - You are making a post when you complete a downtime log but we are not going to award things through the downtime log so we need another post that helps everyone with coordination of what is going on .. NO awards or updates will come from downtime logs .. What does this mean .. In order to get credit for EXPLORATION you must 1. Post in your downtime log (this is a record you can reference and things we can check for auditing purposes 2. Post in the Hex you explore the results of your exploration. You should roll your survival checks and then record the results and the results from any tables based on your exploration. If you gain extra days of exploration that should be reflected in your downtime log. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you post in the hex thread for that hex because this is what the Master of Maps and I use to adjust the map and respond to any Exploration triggers. Otherwise the data will sit in your downtime log but the post will remain unexplored. This also serves to coordinate your posting with others who are doing exploration. You may also coordinate in the Exploring the Island Thread but this does not count as posting for updates. That MUST be done in the hex thread. In order to get credit for CRAFTING you must 1. Post in your downtime log and then put the items you make in either YOUR SHOP page OR Your Personal Inventory. 2. Should you meet a Crafting achievement or finish a crafting quest you must post at the corresponding thread of your success. In order to get credit for QUESTS you must 1. Complete the quest requirements (obviously) 2. Post your completion of the quest in the thread where that quest is found with the exception of STARTING QUESTS which have their own triggers. For any quests that have a trigger of their own (like making a post elsewhere) you do not have to post again in the quest thread that you have completed it. In order to get credit for BUILDING you must 1. Post in your downtime log and then spend the Capitol removing it from your shop page 2. Post any rooms you have created as ASSETS on your shop page 3. If you completed a room for a quest you should post this in the BUILDINGS thread  4. If you complete ANY BUILDING it will be known because the last rooms were posted in the BUILDINGS thread. In order to get credit for CAPITOL you must 1.  Post your checks in downtime to get capitol or gold from work 2,  Make sure you pay the earned cost for the capitol you make.  See Downtime Generating Capitol On the PRD 2.  Add the capitol and GOLD to your store page.  If you withdraw gold from your store make a post in your store and move it to the inventory sheet for your character and this becomes your personal gold.  Think of your store page like a bank.
