tutorial, turn tracker, initive

Am I just doing it wrong or does the rolling into the turn tracker not work while you are in the tutorial? Is there some other requirement for it to work that is not satisfied by the tutorial? I have tried all sorts of roll commands and macros. I just cannot get it to work. It is so well documented and I have seen it work on some of the roll20 feeds that I just cannot figure out why I cannot get it to work in the tutorial.

Did you have the  turn tracker open when you tried to roll into it? It normally opens automatically in the tutorial but just wanted to be sure. You can click on the turn tracker in the tutorial list (right side of the page should have a complete list of all the tutorial steps) and run through the turn tracker specifically. Are you trying to input your own specific turn tracker? [[all the dice mechanics &{tracker}]]. It will not let you enter you own macros while in the tutorial. Example from a sheet of mine:  /w gm [[1d6 + @{selected|DEXbonus} [DEXbonus] &{tracker}]] whispers the turn tracker roll to the gm along with placing it in the open turn tracker. I have it setup to be a token button which means it is usable only when the default sheet token is selected (see bolded section). If you need more help please explain so that help can be posted.

I have the tracker both open and closed. I have put macros on the button bar and as token actions. I have used the macros from  here  and  here . It is weird. If the macros have errors, they are reported. I think all the "successful" rolls just seem to do nothing at all. Nothing is added to the chat and nothing is added to the tracker and nothing is reported as an error. Again this is in the tutorial. I have not been in a game myself.
