CoC GM looking for players for 1920's era campaign

Well like the title said im looking for a few players to start a CoC group with, i would like to run it either on wensday, thursday. But I can do monday. my basic time schedule is 3:00 pm to 12:00 EST, (-4 GMT). To play you have to atleast know the basics of the game, i'd be happy to take some time and explain it to some people. And be willing to create and roleplay a character. A bit about the campaign, It starts out as your group is invited to go and investigate a disappearance on a small fishing island off the coast of Maine.

I am interested aswell, I have played coc before but i'm a bit rusty so i'll have some catching up to do.

I am very interested, actually. I have never played Call of Cthulhu, but I was recently given the 6th edition book, and I've read it front-to-back a few times, I've just never found an interested group of players. I live on the West Coast, and I could do wednesday, from 3 pm on, which I believe is about 6pm EST. I could do thursday as well, but only after 9:30pm, which is obviously a little late. Anyway, please send me a message if you're interested in having me play.

Hi i would be intrested in playing. I have played CoC once before but don't have that much exp in it.

Depending on the day and time I would be very interested. I have very limited experience with the system but don't mind reading up on everything before making a character. I'm a huge fan of the original Lovecraft stories (not so big on Derleth) and have been itching to play a Call of Cthulhu game online for some time now. I would prefer later times and I cannot make a Wednesday game. So, again, depending on the schedule I would be very interested in joining in.

Ah im fine, house is fine, power is back, and most of the coastal area can be repaired. Anyway, i got one other person from /tg/ who is interested and if your interested wensday sounds good.

Ah good, a third person would be good. The other guy is good for wensday. But i cant do it this week, need to get characters and notes and such. so are you going to roll up a character?

Sure, do you have any restrictions on character creation?

I was thinking of giving points for base stats but that damn system is annoying. So no not really i trust that people can do this without being ridiculous.

How do you like to determine cash on hand/starting equipment?

Maybe, i should just wait until the first session and have everyone roll out there characters then. and if your going to continue, i'd just roll a dice... but i'd doubt anyone who comes along for the adventure would be wealthy. And for those of you who are interested. There is plenty of room left, but the game would be on wensdays in the evening. And it would be preferable if you could atleast learn the basic rules.

Don't think so, one guy can't make it this wensday. maybe i'll open up a room just to let characters be rolled out, ect.

Hey, is it too late to join in this game? CoC was the first system I played and I've been looking for a way to get playing it again. What time will the session be? Being on GMT, the earlier in the EST day the better really. I can't be starting sessions after midnight etc. Let me know! Johnny

well the first game will be wensday at 6 PM EST, come with or without a character. if you make one we'll spend less time rolling up characters in the beginning.

Was going to use roll 20, but it would be text. If you guys want i can run it over skype. And yes it looks like it.

I'm working on a character. I also thought we would be using some sort of voice chat.

very well... it may not go on today. I wouldn't want to go on without the other investigator from last week.

But it'll be at 6PM EST and i'll open up the games room around 5:30.

Game has began for tonight... I'll leave it up to the other investigators for if they want a forth person. Games are every wensday if possible.

Looks like we are still on for today unless anyone has any difficulties. I'll try to get a mumble server going and post that info today as well.
