I was considering posting this in the Bugs section instead of suggestions, but here it is. The Wiki table of contents needs to be reorganized. Apparently while I can edit the individual items, only certain people can edit the table of contents. Specifically, there ought to be better/easier ways to get to the API documentation.  If you pick Community, then Help Wiki, you get a main page, from which you can pick Roll20 API, which takes you to an API: Introduction page, from which if you go to the very bottom you can pick API from the categories to finally get to the API table of contents. Suggest that the Roll20 API ought to take you to the API table of contents, and those who want the introduction can choose the introduction off of the API table of contents.  The reasons for this should be obvious, but I will spell them out. People look for the table of contents all the time. They only look for an introduction once. Those looking for an introduction know they are looking for an introduction and can easily find it on the table of contents.  If you are in a Wiki topic, and want to look up an API topic, you can click the "documentation" button on the left menu. This takes you to the Categroy Docs table of contents. For some unknown reason that I can't fathom, there is no API entry under A's. There is an API: Introduction entry listed under "I"'s. This once again takes you to the API introduction page from which you can scroll to the bottom and pick Catagory API in order to finally arrive at the API table of contents.  There should be an API entry (under the A's) on the Documentation table of contents that takes you directly to the API table of contents.  These suggestions should only take a few minutes for somebody who has permission to edit the table of contents pages.
APIs right now are often quite confusing and the better way to get an answer about an API is to take some time from the authors which is far from optimal. I agree with your proposal that would help make certain API related things more celar
