About the system Eon 4 is for the most part simple, you roll your skill against a target number. The complexity comes in the realistic (for an RPG that is) combat. Any single blow could potentially be lethal. No matter how strong or skilled you are, you are (probably) still human(or elven or whatever). I would say the complexity is about the level of DnD, just different and may take some getting used to. About the setting As I am not the GM, I am not certain exactly where the focus will lie. But the adventure is set, or at least start, in the empire of Jargien. Where the only accepted worship is of the war god Daak, worship of any other (in their eyes) false diety is punishable by death. As is practice of witchcraft (magic). At least, that is how it is on the surface, as corruption lies deep.
