[LFGM] [Shadowrun/Any edition]

Looking for a laid back and flexible GM for Shadowrun. Our crew will be made up of 5 maybe 6 people and we're all new to the system but we catch on fast. We all have 4e but if need be we can get any other edition. We'll be using either Skype or Discord for voice and obviously roll20 for dice. We're looking at afternoonish early evening PST for the start of our games. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or add me on skype. aallnn771

heh, i have DMed alot of dnd, and a good deal of stars without number. I have watched people play shadowrun, and have even played an editioon myself (not sure what one) DMing it seems.... daunting/impossible. So many systems (hacking, meatspace, vehicles, magic, astral, rigging, the list goes on) with so much minutiae. SWN is a infinitely more relaxed system that is meant to be used for any setting, similar to GURPS i guess. The magic/astral bits dont really fit as SWN has rules for psychics and psychic powers instead (teleportation, precog, telekenisis, biopsi, ect. there are i think 7 disciplines) If your group is open to using the SWN system for rules i could DM a shadowrun esque game. Meaning meet a fixer, get a job of sometype of shadowrunny thing (stealing corp data, assassination, ect. things in shadowrun). I just dont feel like i could ever fully learn a system like real shadowrun, rolling 10d6 vs your 8d6 and then counting sucesses and double checking books for dmg types to make sure you mark 1 box or 5 or whatever while still tracking 20 other things.. ugh.
Hey unfortunately one of our group would run SWN if we were to play that instead and yeah I know the rule set is kind of daunting.  For anyone other prospective GM's who see this we're planning on going Friday Afternoons PST. Since we're all learning 4e it looks like we're set on playing that edition however. Hopefully a GM can see this and run it though, or at least help walk us through most of it.
