[Text Only] [GMT +8 evenings] [nWoD conversion] Orpheus.

Hi guys, Pretty much what the title says - I'm looking to run a game of Orpheus on my Tuesday evenings. It will be set in Brussels and the rest of the EU, rather than in the U.S. since ... well, I'm from Europe and my U.S. would be a bit too uncanny valley to my own liking. If you're unfamiliar with the game, here's a quick elevator pitch; In 2010 a small U.S. cryogenics firm revived some of it's clients who spoke of strange out-of-body experiences involving 'spirits' and 'ghosts'. They were too precise to be dismissed as mere hallucinations, and further digging revealed to a very stunned team of researches that they had stumbled upon the secret of life after death... some people *did* persist as 'ghosts'. The Orpheus group opened it's doors in the States in 2013, amidst public disbelief and plenty of allegations of fraud. Nevertheless, results were there - and modern media is slowly starting to accept the existence of "ghosts." Orpheus is making millions, especially with legislation scrambling to catch up, and they've just opened their first European Headquarters in Brussels. You, the players, will play 'projectors', able to leave your bodies behind and peek behind the veil - either by a meditative process and plenty of near-death experiences or by stepping into a 'coffin' which places your body in suspended animation. You'll interact with the recently deceased, restless ghosts and other, weirder things - on a corporate payroll. Themes of the game will be moral shades of grey, exploration of the supernatural and a bit of psychological (as well as good old scare) horror. The game will have a set start and finish, but will probably run for about a year or so of real-life time. I'm hoping for a group of mature players, developed PC characters and a mid-February start. I'm hoping to tailor game events to *who* your characters are rather than the stats on their sheet. I can't be super flexible on times, though I can do most days of the week, including weekends.
Bump.

Admittedly I've never had much interest in World of Darkness but this concept just sounds too unique to pass up. Did you have a specific game time in mind? I know you mentioned evenings, but due to our differing timezones, and my own availability, I am unsure how well our schedules would match up.
It depends on the day, really. My days off are Tuesday and Wednesday - so I'm more flexible then, but ideally other days would start after 20:00 GMT +8. Tue and Wed I could start late afternoon to early evening. It's a pretty tough timezone to find folks in, and I'm already running another game in my early morning for exactly that reason. I feel you on WoD as well - I've never been much for the 'every supernatural thing under the sun is out there'; so if that's your beef, no worries. There will be no Vampires, Werewolves, Mummies or Mages running rampant here :).
I certainly don't mind later start times as my own availability is fairly limited. But as a rule I'm generally not free until 20:00 EST, which I believe would be roughly 1:00 for you? I'd have to look it up, but of course I understand, if I am correct, that thats an absurd time to start a game. And yes, that is exactly why I have shied away from WoD! I have heard great things about the system and simple character creation rules, but I just couldn't bring myself to really immerse in the setting.
