An unwanted arrival

A fresh boat of settlers arrived early one morning, and amongst them, was a sight that brought Azariah dread. A young tiefling girl, pretty if it weren't for the burn scars crawling up her neck. She had charcoal skin like his, blood red hair and eyes of the same. Dressed in thick robes and a striped scarf that helped disguise the way her right arm hung limp and swayed uselessly side to side as she walked. She had a devilish grin on her face as throughout the town, people could hear Azariah bellow "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" (I thought I'd make an adventure thread for this to have a little bit of rp tied into the cohorts arrival, anyone interested can take part, but I'd particularly like Ren to join in)
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" A loud voice boomed through the air. Jeez, what's the noise for this time. Ren had been doing his morning meditation by the seaside when another batch came in. Agela had told them they were the secound group so it wasn't so surprising to see another group come in.      Not as many as our's huh. Well, I guess we had a lot of people on that boat. A few people caught Ren's eye as they disembarked. A skinny half-elf, another tiefling, a blue skinned man, and a few humans, notably a large built man who looked like a martial artist, a monk that wore a smile, and an alchemist who seemed to be on the chubbier side.      As Ren was watching Azariah didn't seem to happy about something. I wonder what it is, maybe the new tiefling? "Ren made his way to the path they were coming up and where Azariah was already at.
Getting closer, Ren could see that the girl had ram like horns that curled from either side of her head. And with that charcoal black skin, she had a certain... Family resemblance to Azariah, who was storming up the dock towards her. What appeared to be a zombie in a butlers surcoat stumbled down the gangplank after the girl. The strong smell of lavender hiding the odor of decaying flesh. The girl was really rather pretty in an exotic sort of way. If it weren't for the pure black burn scar creeping up the right side of her neck. "Well hello Uncle. What...? I thought you'd be pleased to see me." She grinned, and spotting Ren looking at her, she made an odd motion, swaying her shoulders, to make her right arm sway forwards and give a limp little wave in greeting. "You were meant to be studying with Lord Marduk. Why, are, you, here?" Azariah seemed well... About ready to attack. he was usually fairly casual, but right now he looked simply furious. His niece did not look intimidated.

Niece huh. Now that I think of it, I haven't really met too many families of tieflings. But then again I haven't met that many tieflings either. The younger tiefling seemed to shake a little and her right arm came up a bit before falling back down. Ren was immediately able to tell that her arm was damaged in some way, although it took him a little longer to realize that the motion was a greeting. Strange, when I was crippled I seem to remember using the hand that could move more often. Looking back at Azariah he didn't seem pleased by it, Ren wondered why that was.      "You were meant to be studying with Lord Marduk. Why, are, you, here?"  Azariah seemed all around upset that her niece was... well not where she was suppose to be. Ren didn't know who this Lord Marduck was. Regardless, Ren didn't really like the zombie all too much, but to each there own. As long as I don't have to interact with it...     Ren found there interactions amusing, but decided it wasn't time to interrupt this touching reunion just yet, mainly because he decided he didn't want a fist thrown at his face when Azariah was pissed. So instead he just waved back at the tiefling with his right arm.

The new inhabitants had already arrived town (" Ooh, newcomers! Last batch was really nice, let's check these out... ") - Prytania left the stall unatended and walked down the road towards the crowd. Lots of interesting people around this time: A blue guy, a tiefling with a zombie butler, some humans... (" Wait, a Zombie?? ") - Prytania rushed towards the group, with her pharasma symbol furiously bouncing left and right on her lower torso. The tiefling was speaking with Azariah, upon closing in, she could hear the conversation - " Well hello Uncle. What...? I thought you'd be pleased to see me. " (" Azariah seems angry at her, well that's going to be two of us ") " Is this your niece Azariah? What is this... Pantomime " - Now pointing her finger towards the zombie - " I don't like to judge, but this... Don't you have any respect for the dead, girl? What's his story? "

"Well, my training was finished. And he suggested I find somewhere to gain more experience. I thought there'd be nowhere better than in the new world with my dear uncle. After all you'd never let me get hurt. " There was something of a sinister edge in the way she said that. And azariah visibly bristled for a moment. You were meant to be training there for good, you were safe there.  Azariah thought to himself. Staring down at his niece with a frown that didn't fall even for a moment. They both shared the long tail, and Azariah's rose up angrily, whilst his nieces waved leisurely side to side.  Eventually, Ren saw Azariah deflate somewhat, with a long sigh and a dropping of his shoulders. "A letter would have been good." he growled. "I've only one bedroom, and Khaanyr is already sleeping on the floor while we make his room." "Oh that cutie came as well....?" She chuckled gently, and looked over Azariah's shoulder. "Speaking of cuties... Are you going to introduce me uncle?" Azariah turned, and he looked at Ren, giving an upwards nod. "Ren. This is my niece, Aliiszha. Aliiszha, this is Ren." That was when Prytania intruded. Azariah did not seem in the mood for being interrupted, and as he turned to face Prytania, she saw his right hand momentarily turn into a furred claw before shifting back again. The tieflings blood was up. "Yes. This is my niece." he growled to Prytania. "Aliiszha, this is Prytania, the local priestess." "Well nice to meet you too Prytania." The tiefling said with a little grin that never seemed to fade. Before giving a little shrug. "I've plenty respect for the dead, and I know for a fact they aren't in here." She patted the polished head of her zombie affectionately. "You're a priestess, I'd think you'd know that souls are gone from their bodies to the astral plane and then to whatever their 'final' destination may be. The body is just a husk unless they're being resurrected, and Timothy here is not going to. I hear he's very happy in Pelor's afterlife. What's the difference between a doctor cutting the body open to learn more of how the body works, and me using it as a bodyguard. Either way, it is using something that is of no use to it's previous owner, who's living it up way above, but is helping protect someone down here. I don't know about you, but I'd say Pelor would like that kind of thing, Timothy certainly would." Gods above and devils below she certainly got Marduk's prospenity for not shutting up.

Cutie? I'm flattered, too bad I have no idea how to judge a tiefling. Ren smiled before immediately dropping it.   Oh god a religion debate. These always end in either endless droning where no one is bale to convince each other... or both sides start fighting. It wasn't really fair since Ren occasionally got in ethical debates as well. Ren didn't like the zombie either, albeit for reasons differing from Prytania. Ren sighed. Guess I'll stay for this, I guess the religino debate takes precidence over introductions?

" Well, I really doubt that Pelor would approve the use of necromancy for such trivial uses. If you want protection, hire a mercenary like decent people do " - Prytania's anger at Aliiszha's frivolity was met with her ever-lasting confident smile, which angered her even further. -" And for your answer, I guess Timothy didn't actually give you persmission to desecrate his corpse, right? You just felt like taking it for your personal gain and use it as a... Butler " - That word came out of her mouth with extra disgust. Prytania's hand was already gripping hard the unholy symbol in her pocket, but she forced herself to calm down a bit... (" You have lived with necromancers before, how worse can SHE be... ")  Her hand came out of the pocket without Mardev's symbol " Listen girl, If I'm not putting him to rest right away is just out of respect for your uncle.  - Making a nod with her head towards Azariah -  I really want to believe that you haven't trapped Timothy's soul it in that body, but I guess we'll find that out eventually..." - And before walking away she added: "And if you think I don't fancy the idea of you having a zombie slave, wait for Agela to find out... Don't expect me to protect that abomination from her "

And a one, and a two and a three Oh look a penny dropped. "Girl?" Aliiszha asked in a cheery voice. "Girl?" She repeated, walking past her uncle. Who merely crossed his arms now. "Ohohoho, friend. Now, I'm a nice girl. But well. Let's set a few things straight." "One, I'm almost certainly at least a decade older than you, human. So don't address me as your junior. Two, there's no soul in that zombie other than my own. Don't talk on matters you have no ken. You have no more understanding of my magic than you do my uncles mental powers. So don't pretend to have a place to speak. My magic is fuelled by my essence, no one elses. It is my power that controls that body, keeps it moving. Nothing else. I'm not some sycophantic hedonistic, scum sucki-" "Aliiszha, that's enough." "Uncle. She insulted me! I've my right to retort." Azariah looked between Aliiszha, Ren, and Prytania for several moments. His mind was clearly roiling. Then he turned to Tim. Without Aliiszha commanding it to, the zombie did not defend itself at all as Azariah's hand formed into a claw, and cleaved its head from its shoulders. Aliiszha screamed in shock as the body of the zombie fell to the ground beside her.  "UNCLE!" "You don't need the F-ING ZOMBIE , I know as well as you there's plenty you can use in it's place. YOU JUST LIKE SHOWING OFF! This is a small town Aliiszha, we don't have time for necromancers. And if I see you raise another corpse, I'm sending you back to your father with a hiding." "I never told him it was you, don't tempt me to Unc-" Azariah's hand clamped on his nieces shoulder, her ruined one. She visibly whimpered, and looked close to tears as her uncle leaned down. "Aliiszha. My home is on the edge of the marketplace. Go there. NOW." All pretense of teasing abated, Aliiszha picked up the suitcase the zombie had been carrying, and with obvious difficulty began lugging it away, trying not to meet any of the threes gaze as she ran off.
Issachar was on his way to the dock.  Kizzak was supposed to arrive today, and Issachar needed him to look after things at the ranch while he was out exploring this new wilderness for one more week.   Is that a girl tiefling?  Boy, she's struggling with that suitcase.   Offering her a gentlemanly hand, he offered to carry it for her.   Ho girlie, let me help you with that load you're carrying!   He was surprised by the look of anger... and fear?.. on her face.   Are you alright?  Mayhap I can help with the OTHER load you're carrying too...

They are still bickering. Prytania and Aliisha were still aruging about there zombies and their souls, Ren didn't really understand why it was so important for a zombie to have or not have a souls. "I'm older .... Pelor wouldn't like it! .... " Suddenly Azariah butted in. "That's enough!"      Ren reactivly tensed when he saw Azariah's hand turned into a claw. He had not expected it. Is he trying to intimidate everyone into shutting up? The next moment Azariah cleaved the head off the zombie (TIm). Ren was taken aback for a secound as he didn't expect that. His niece screamed back, "UNCLE".      "You don't need the F-ING ZOMBIE , I know as well as you there's plenty you can use in it's place. YOU JUST LIKE SHOWING OFF! This is a small town Aliiszha, we don't have time for necromancers. And if I see you raise another corpse, I'm sending you back to your father with a hiding.  Aliiszha. My home is on the edge of the marketplace. Go there. NOW " Aliisha started to walk off carrying her suitcases that the zombie was earlier.      She seemed to be having a hard time, Ren was considering helping her knowing that carrying large and heavy things can be difficult with one arm, but Issachar seemed to approach her first. Hmm, interesting. I'll need to speak to her later. Turning his attention back to Prytania and Azariah Ren scratched his head. "So Tania the zombie's dead, if you want to bury it I recommend doing so before too many people gather at the beheding, after all those who saw this from far away only saw a half devil cutting off a man's head." Prytania seemed rather flustered by what had happened, and Ren was a little off as well, but he wasn't sure if the argument had caused the outburst or perhaps this was just how the family got along.     "It's not everyday I see you lose your temper that bad outside of combat, I guess that's family. What are you going to do?"

Prytania stopped to watch the full show with a mix of horror and embarrasment. When it finished, she approached Azariah, forced herself to look at him in the eyes and said " I...  I'm really sorry for overreacting Azariah, I just can't..." - Prytania doubted. She shouldn't tell him about Mardev... Definitively not right now - " I hope I didn't cause much trouble between you two " Before turning back to the corpse" I'll start burying Timothy now... ". She borrowed a cart and took the corpse to the yet-to-build part of Henry's house, where she started preparing the corpse for the burial.
While Prytania was carting the corpse back to wherever she was taking it, Charles came ambling by. "Meat pocket? Sleeved venison treats? What do I ca.... holy headless corpse in a cart! Glad to see you're taking care of that, Prytania. Can't leave those things lying around." Charles just keeps ambling on. "Meat in a blanket?..." (I was feeling left out :p)

Prytania passed along Charles, but she didn't look too chatty... More like sad and angry at the same time - " I'm giving a mass as soon as I finish preparing him, if you want to come " - Then she kept going.
Zordlon seeing the new arrivals goes ahead and does his thing. By that i mean he hides and obsevres.
Rusty sees a body being carted off and grabs a shovel to help out. "How did it happen?" oblivious to the body's previous status concerned over letting this happen under his watch.

Prytania seemed rather angry, and was a bit rough when talking -" This? A necromancer just arrived in town... And not of the good kind. She's Azariah's niece, and I feel that's what stopped me from having two corpses on this cart... " - Gesturing at the cart, she added: " This is the poor fellow who got his body desecrated. When Azariah killed it, that spoiled brat of a woman just complained like if he had broken his toy. She went away without a second look and left him lying there... " - Prytania cursed while she slammed the cart in frustration, almost unbalancing it- " Completely disgusting... Anyway, I'm going to prepare him and we will have a mass as soon as the graveyard is finished. I already have my apprentice, Gabriel working on it, it shouldn't take him much longer to finish" Prytania finished her rant and looked  "But I appreciate the help, and some chat would do me good if you have nothing else to do so... How's the book going, viggo?"
Zordlon silently makes his way behind Prytania "Is she the teifling? Sounds like a bit of a spoiled brat who plays with death like it's a mildly challenging puzzle." Zordlon says this very calmly though there is some hint of distain in his eyes

"TANIA!!!" bellows Armand as he storms up in his full armour, his warhammer shaking with righteous fury. "What is this about a zombie? I swear if you are running around creating undead I am going to send you off to speak with your god in person. You should know better than to create abominations. Where is this....thing. It needs to be taken care of properly."
"She's one of the ones who objected. Besides she's taking care of it now."

Armand ran down the street to meet Prytania, his armor almost shadowed the cart's noise. She knew that Rusty and crowds don't go along... (" I should get rid of these two if I want to make him open his feelings... ") " Here is Timothy... if that's his real name " - She said as she pointed at the cart -  "Guess I'll have to find out later... Also, why are you assuming I did it?... - Prytania was visibly offended at the commentary, just before  before shaking her head and giving up- Whatever, look, I already had enough fighting for today, and I'm not in the mood right now". "If you want to help to get things done properly, I want to hold a mass to bury this poor fellow, but I don't have a proper place to do so, would you mind if we celebrate it at your church?" - After getting the response, she adds: " The one who did this is with Azariah, but I wouldn't recommend you to go there, he's in an even worse mood than me... Plus, he'll keep her in check for now "
Zordlon stands in a vaguely offensive stance in case Armand tries to attack Prytania to get the corpse "She speaks the truth Armand."

"If you did not do this then who did.  They will need to be punished most severally.  And yes we can hold mass at the church.  But hes not being buried.  He has been defiled in the most gruesome of ways.  He will be burned." Armand turns to Zordlen "Elf run and fetch Agela, tell her to gather all the workers and people in town.  We will be holding mass and burning the defiled one in the church.  Go quickly now and what ever you do, do not take no for an anwser"
"It's a shame we don't know who created this beast. it lumbered out of the wods and azariah killed it in response." as he finishes speaking Zordlon starts off towards agelas shop.

Armand was going full zealot here, she better stop him before he spreads panic everywhere " Are you out of your mind? He deserves peace after all he's been up to. His body was taken away from him once already, I don't want to grief him further... And you shouldn't either I'm burying him in consecrated ground, so he won't be raised again". Prytania took a break to calm herself and calm him down  "Listen, Whatever it happened, he's now with Pharasma, if not with his god already... Tell you what, we will ask for guidance, it'll be a small sum of money in components, but we will get the answer. What do you say?"
"Say to what Tania.  He has been defiled and is now one of the undead.  His body will be burned in accordance to tradition.  All it would take is a necromancer walking up to your "consecrated" ground and defiling it and then we would have a problem on our hands.  We nip this in the bud before we have a problem.  Then we find who ever created this abomination and deal with them properly."

She had enough, the diplomatic way doesn't work when one doesn't want to listen, so it was time to spring into action: " Listen Armand... We're not in the mountainhome anymore " - She pointed out, cutting him before he could end  the next phrase - " I don't know what does your tradition say, but I AM the authority about dead and undead people around here and I also have helped to give funeral rights to more corpses than you have ever seen". "Do you know what's going to happen to this body?" - Asked Prytania while pointing at the withering corpse-  "it's going to decay soon enough... It already is decaying actually... Tomorrow it will be nothing but dust unless I do something for him. I just want to preserve his body just long enough to give him the burial he deserves, that's all " Prytania made a sign for Rusty to follow her and kept walking with the cart. As she started to leave, she added: " As for the one who did this, Azariah has her under control, but if you want to end up just like Timothy here, you can always annoy him a little bit more. I heard he's in a great mood right now " - Then she stopped right on her tracks " Don't you even think of that, Armand. He WILL kill you!"
Zordlon ,delivering the message, starts back to where he  left Prytania and Armand
"You have no idea about the number of corpses I have seen Prytania." Armand looks at Tania with a looks of sadness in his eyes. "But the fact remains that he is no longer human. He is an undead now and needs to be dealt with properly.  And if you plan on using my church he will be dealt with properly and in a proper fashion......And as for Azariah if he is hiding a necromancer then Agela will have to convene a court on the matter.  You know as well as I do what the penalties are for creating undead.' Armand turns away from Prytania and heads down to the Iron Keplie......

"I would want a proper burial after this..." Gesturing to Timothy. "Burning him might make things worse."..." But I don't know much about this " ... glancing at Prytania
Thinking on it, Ren had never once seen Azariah angry. Even in the middle of a fight, he seemed to be enjoying himself. In fact in the middle of a fight he seemed to be at his happiest. Now, the tiefling was bristling. "I'm going to let that foolish girl stew for a while. I'm going to speak to Prytania, follow if you want Ren." He said, stalking towards Prytania, in moments, she, Armand and Rusty could see the large tiefling on approach, and he did not look happy. "Prytania! I would speak with you." ------------------------------- Aliiszha Aliiszha was confronted by this new fellow, offering to carry her suitcase for her. He could see she only carried the suitcase with one hand, as the other dangled uselessly in its long sleeve. Looking back to the docks, she pouted a moment, before offering him her suitcase. Putting on her airs as best she could, she replied with a coo "Shouldn't you introduce yourself first?"
Agela showed up with her longsword already drawn .. Zombies? What?  A burial .. a funeral pyre .. someone tell me what in the name of the Inheritor is going on here!
"A newcomer brought one..." Glancing at Timothy.. .
Zordlon appears behind Agela "A newcomer came with a zombie Azariah killed it and now we're holding a funeral and are gonna burn the corpse. Want to come?" Zordlon appears to be very unconcerned about what's happening.
Oh .. i thought that the crew had been infected or killed and raised by a necromancer and we were dealing with an outbreak of zombies.  A ton of things were going through my mind but not that someone had a pet zombie .. That sounds like Prytania's area of expertise.  I would say let it burn and move on .. cleansing fire and all that.  And .. NO .. I do not want to attend a zombie funeral .. I have .. she paused as if she was going to say something condescending .. then stopped herself and sheathed her sword.   well .. you guys have fun.

"Tell the truth, where we bury zombies doesn't interest me. "      Armand and Prytania were still staring each other down. Even if this turns out to be nothing, animosity will grow, and that is never good. Then again I don't really know how to calm religion people down.      "Hey Zordlon, let's not make this a public event. We don't need too much unwanted attention."
"No, I don't give a damn about the zombie either. A corpse is a corpse. But the religious ones might turn this into a witch hunt." He agreed with Ren in a low growl as they approached.
"Well I guess the buring of the corpse might create a witch hunt. Terrible we never found the necromancer." As he finishes talking he turns away from Armand and gives a sly wink to Azariah
(Just putting it out there, as people are trying to pretend they don't know who did it, that Prytania has told Armand at least twice that the one responsible was with Azariah.)

"You know as well as I do what the penalties are for creating undead" - Armand's parting words hit in her soft spot... (" Yea,   I think I know a little bit better this time too... ") - Prytania shook those thoughts out of her head, and resumed travel with Rusty - " Nah, don't worry, Timothy's gone either way. You can't re-raise the dead... I just feel that's the right thing to do". "You see, Armand wants to destroy it to protect the town, but I just want to undo the harm that has been done to this poor fellow". - Prytania seemed lost in her thoughts for a while - Curious how she felt the same as Armand with the invisible creatures... (" There's a life lesson if I ever saw one ") - , then sighed deeply - "I hope to be wrong, but this may well end up being about sending a message, and we need to send the right message... Peace or war, destroy all that we fear or find a way to solve it... Sometimes it's hard to see... I'd know it, but I know where I want to be - and, placing her hand in his shoulder she added with a smile: and I'm glad you feel the same way" Right as they were parting, what seemed like half the town had gathered, and everyone seemed to want to have a word with her: Here everything should unfold: " Yes? I'm in a bit of a hurry, so let's solve this like civilized people. Other than Armand wanting to burn everything, What's the problem? "
"I'm perfectly civilized." Said the tiefling who refused to ever wear a shirt. They hid his magnificent pecs. "I came to tell you that Aliiszha will be reprimanded, but it will be done so by me. She's a young, foolish girl with far too much power for her own good and an inferiority complex because of the accident. She's no real necromancer, you needn't fear that. I'll make sure she never pulls a stunt like this again, and I'm sorry for the trouble she's caused you and... Tim... But that being said-" He leaned down, so that only Prytania would hear, the tieflings wolfish features were rather intimidating close up. Kinda handsome too. "Never talk to my family like that again."
Shouldn't you introduce yourself first? There's surely some spunk in this one, Issachar thinks, a big wolfish grin spreading across his face.   Name's Issachar Black, ma'am.  I saw you totin' that big ol' bag and thought I could lighten your load a bit.  Now, if you'll just point the way you're headin'...   He reaches for the bag and waits expectantly.
"Aliiszha Jericho. It's my pleasure." She replied. Idly running her left hand along one of the curled ram horns that sprouted from amidst her thick red hair. She gave him a darling smile as she adjusted her scarf to better hide her neck. "Do you know where Azariah's shop is? He said it's just on the edge of the marketplace."

Azariah surely was intimidating... The anger she still had inside ran away from her the moment he got near. Handsome as he is, Prytania couldn't help to balance her weight back a bit " I don't fear necromancers, Azariah, I actually am one. But I do fear the damage one can inflict with such power. Entitlement and selfishness don't go well with necromancy, I've seen that way too many times..." - now looking at everyone, she casted guidance to help her speech, and she explained her theory with a confident tone in her voice: " Look, I'm going to bury this poor guy, if nothing else, as a message. We can try to solve things peacefully, or we can start a witch hunt and start burning everything that might be a threat... - She said this, stopping briefly at every face, and finally landing severely in Armand- I think we all know which one is preferrable. We already got on the right tracks with the invisible visitors... I was wrong in that respect, and having seen Armand like this made me see myself back then... Thankfully, as a group, common sense prevailed. Let's not walk the other path ". - As she finished, the light in her eyes faded, and her voice turned to normal again. "And don't worry Azariah, I will respect your family as much as I can from now on. In fact, I think I... owe your..."  - (" I don't owe that stupid brat anything... ") ... Without Mardev beside her, words clearly weren't that easy... (" Come on, don't screw this up now! ")  "I do owe your niece an apology, just tell me whenever she's ready to talk..."  She paused for a second, before recomposing herself and extending her hand at Azariah:   " Friends? "
Aliza?  Am I hearing you right?  I can be a little tone deaf sometimes.   His grin got bigger.   Now that smile is something, sure as shootin'.   Azariah?  Yeah, I know where his place is, although I think I heard him bellowing back the way you came.   He nods his head in the direction of the dock.   Follow me and I'll show you the way.
"I would never claim we were anything else Prytania." The tiefling replied, his usual casual mannerisms returning in a moment. One hand slipped into his pocket, whilst his other gigantic weapon of a hand daintily wrapped around hers and gently shook it. "When you're done burying the corpse. Feel free to visit my shop. She should be there by then."
"Aliiszha. With a zh sound, sort of like bee buzzing." She replied, as she began following after him, her long black tail waving to and fro gleefully at the prospects this new companion brought. "Azariah is my uncle. He's... Less than excited I'm here."
Good. Looks like this is working out. Now to get away from this crowd of people.  Ren steps forward and claps his hands. "Well good, so glad we got that worked out. Prytania, need any help burying that corpse?" Ren spoke as walked up to the pair who had been at each other's necks. "And anyway, I was planning on visiting his (pointing at Azariah) shop later anyway. I'll just follow you there afterwords."
zh...zh...zh...  I'll keep trying.   Issachar smiled his big wolf grin.   Azariah is a quick-tempered fellow, for sure.  I'm sure he'll move past it and be glad to see you.   Gesturing towards the door, he bows with a flourish.   And here we are.  It was very nice meeting you, Aliiszha.   He smiled one more time, sat down the suitcase, and walked off, whistling.
As Armand returns from his errand on the beach and the Iron Kelpie he sees that everyone has dispersed and are no longer there. "Fools"  he whispers to himself "I have seen the damage a necromancer can do first hand and with a graveyard so close at hand we are naught but fools to let this lay" With a heavy heart he walks  toward Prytania's shop.  "At the stroke of midnight bring Azariah and his charge to the church.  We will deal with this before dawn rises."   He turns before Tania can reply and walks toward his church, his fist tightly grasping his hammer. At midnight when the three of you walk into the forge you feel as is it is really a church now.  What was once a hard packed dirt floor is now cut and polished stone.  On one side wall lies a weapons rack with Armand's gleaming warhammer resting apon it.  Candles arrayed in the shape of an anvil lay on the shelf below, their flames flickering in the darkness giving the instrument of war an eerie look.  What was just a few days ago were wooden posts holding up the roof have now been replaced with stone walls, covered in thick tapestries embroidered in dwarven runes and symbols of Torag the creater God.  Arrayed around the room are Iron braziers filled with  coal and burning incense giving off for you, what is an oppressive heat.  At the anvil you see Armand clothed in full armour with ceremonial garb hammering away at something. "Welcome to the Church of Torag, Azariah.  We need to talk about the young woman you are now protecting. I have seen the dangers necromancers pose first hand.  And just how easy  it is to pull the dead from what you thought were peaceful sleep in a holy graveyard. Convince me that she should be allowed to live here with us" Armand continues to hammer away at the anvil while you talk.......
Aliiszha watched him go with a soft, befuddled expression, before giving a gentle shrug. "And here I was going to invite him in for tea."
