Deleting posts during a session?

Like the title says, it would be really convenient for the Gm to edit and/or delete their posts (or that of players) during a game session. (with the player able to see the original unedited/deleted post in an archive) Sometimes when playing I need to whisper something to a player, or delete/change an NPC response because of something another player said while I was typing it, or post as the wrong NPC, and being able to do a quick edit (or delete would really make things flow smoother and keep plot critical information from being there for everyone to read when you screw up a whisper) Having this feature as a player would be great too, perhaps with a 2 min timer cut off for editing/deleting a post, and with the Gm able to still see the original deleted/unedited post in a archive file. (To keep players from cheating obviously, by changing their posts to take different actions than they did earlier in the session.)
