Wrong Time Zone

Hi,     When I'm browsing games on Roll20 using the Find Group feature, the time zone is set to GMT -5:00 when I actually live in eastern Canada so my time zone is EST. The problem is do I have to adjust the time by subtracting the 5hours to the time displayed or do I go with that time since in one game it said starts in 3hours and the game started at 1PM GMT-5:00 and in 3hours it'll be 1PM EST. Thanks, Pierre-Olivier
Hi Pierre, what time zone is your computer set for? I found moving from time zone to time zone, that Roll20 uses the time zone set on my machine. So for example I have this Windows 10 machine set to CET time and all of the games show in that time zone while I've never set the time zone on my Linux machine and when I look at the same games it gives me the time in Central Standard Time.  Did you perhaps set the clock but have the time zone off? Just a suggestion on what you could check.
Ok, since I'm using a Mac my computer doesn't call it EST but actually calls it GMT-5:00 which is why I was completely puzzled because when I looked I just looked for GMT. Sorry for the bother it's just that on my cellphone it told me EST and my laptop told me GMT-5:00. Thanks a lot for the help and clarification.
