RWBY game

Now I know there isn't a dedicated table top out there for RWBY, but I am curious if there is anyone out there thinking about running a game with an existing system? I think it'd be really fun to run even though they is still a lot of lore to be expanded on.
Cypher System Core and FATE, either Core or Atomic Robo, are generally good options for creating games for unusual settings. I would offer to try and think of something, but I am one of the few nerd out there that is unfamiliar with RWBY.
I got your link, thank you. What exactly about RWBY interests you? I want to see if there is something that I can work with.
I am totally for a RWBY game. I'd love to emphasize the over-the-top combat, fun little moments and characterizations, and possibly build on the Faunus social issue thing. We'd have to have epic music and stuff. I think Mutants and Masterminds is a good system for the power level RWBY tends to have. Come on guys, stand with me! This will be the day we've waited for!! :D
I'd be down for some M&M RWBY.
Unfortunately, if I were to run this it would need to be one of the systems mentioned above.

Well in all honesty there isn't much source material yet, but the weapons, aura, semblances and the setting are all what interest me about RWBY. In the past week I have re watched every episode and World of Remnant video about twice (it only takes about 3-4 hours easily). Also, I never thought of M&M as a possibility as I've never played it but I have played the DC game that is very similar to it, if not almost the same. Also, I agree Kayla it would be hell of fun. I would run a game but I enjoy playing much more than running games (that and I am already running a D&D game lol) Edit: I can learn just about any system, but will ask questions at 1st lol.
RWBY does have a game btw, https://www.reddit.com/r/RWBYTabletop. I been wanting to do the game myself but I hate gming, I do great at the foot work (map making, tokens etc) but not telling the story. If you wish it I could help anyone who is trying to do a RWBY game. I did make the school map already.
I've never seen this before, I'm going to post here and see if anyone is willing to run this for us. I have a lot of people interested but no one willing to run the game yet lol.
glad I could help.

And if we play this system you are one of the players man. All we really need is a GM and we are basically ready to go. I have had a lot of people say they are willing to play, but not GM lol.
The problem with M&M is that it cares too much about obeying the laws of physics, whereas RWBY cares precisely not at all about that.
yeah that's why i am more learning toward either the FATE system (i know a lot of people dislike FATE, but it can work) or this unofficial RWBY RoC system. Just need a GM and I care more about them knowing the lore more than the rules b/c we can learn it as we go as long as the basic concept is understood.

Well the entire point behind Monty Oum's choreography style is that it DOES obey physics, it only blows them way up in intensity; they all however still remain in proportion to how physics would actually respond when exposed to the level of force these super powered teenagers are capable of generating (for an example of this see the Vol 2 food fight and observe the impact crater left by the carryover velocity from Ruby abruptly stopping while moving at super speed). M&M has proportionate physics for super speed, strength, and toughness, among other things. The system would serve it well in the hands of a GM who understands how Monty Oum approaches action scenes and overall fight physics and how that influenced the planning for RWBY.
So has this reached any level of understanding? Cuz i'd be super interested in playing or GMing, I'd need some time to get learn whatever system is decided on (and catch up on season 3...) but aside from that Im very interested!
I'm totally up for playing this!
We kinda ended homebrewing a lot of it TBH (using a system taking heavily from 5E). We plan on starting Saturday, but we only have 3 characters made and 2 people that haven't made anything as of yet.
I am personally committed to using M&M for this kind of game, so if the group goes in a different direction I'm to be counted out.
