I have four ideas in my head and 2 are female characters. I guess I should make my stance on that clearer so thanks for pointing it out Mark. In general I don't care what other players play as long as it's good for the game, in general. For instance I don't think you need to BE an Elf to play one. Because, well, they don't exist in the modern world (that we know of ;) ). My issue (and it is only my issue) is that I think the slayer should be played by a female player. I have no problems with people playing any gender or sexual orientation they feel comfortable playing. I'm an old gamer and have played several kinds of games with hundreds of players and for me, it's all good. In my years of playing I've come to understand that my personal comfort zone of character types to play is not the same as everyone else. However I'd never tell you what you can or can't play. So, if, for example you're a straight man in the real world, wanting to play a lesbian dwarf, I say go for it. It's not for me to stop you from having fun however you see fit. That, in and of itself, will not stop me from playing with you. Now if you're a disruptive player, jerk, rules lawyer, meta-gamer and ETC. in general (and I'm not calling anyone out specifically, I'm speaking in the general/generic use of the term "you") no matter what gender or orientation I don't want to play with you but other then that anything goes. As I tried to make clear before, my feelings about a female player playing the Slayer are strong but not strong enough to stop me from playing in this game. I hope that makes it clearer for you Mark. As for availability I'm free from 7PM CST Wednesdays until 2AM no problem there. Hope this helps --Mike PS. My vote for method of execution would be for a text-based system. I know that a lot of people aren't comfortable with that but hear me out at least. Text is, in my experience, a more immersive play style. It also allows everyone to have their say without fear of interruption or being talked over while trying to make a point. While it is a bit slower it can avoid the disconnect between player and character. To use the above example my buddy Bruce the burly dock worker can play a female dwarf and it is much more believable. The character's "voice" is only in my head and not being conveyed by a deep baritone in my ears. Also narrative actions become more thought out because you have to stop to put the words together instead of just reacting or going from impulse. I'm not saying that I won't do a Voice game, but I at least wanted to make the point for having a text only game.
