Linux Chrome: Excessive Memory Usage When Zooming

In another thread, I said I wasn't going to try and reproduce this, but my curiosity got the better of me and I gave it a go. Using the Alt+Mouse wheel to zoom, I hit a point when suddenly the CPU usage goes really high, Chrome starts eating up the RAM. After it goes through the physical RAM, it starts filling up the swap file, which drags the processing speed to a crawl, making it nigh impossible to do anything. I'm sort of afraid to use the zoom function in a game, the mem usage requires the process to be killed, which takes forever if I don't get to ye olde htop before it starts filling the swap. I haven't used the zoom function in my game before and since it hasn't come up previously, I very well be the only person that has encountered this, so this bug report is just an FYI. The system specs are as given by that <a href="http://supportdetails.com/" rel="nofollow">http://supportdetails.com/</a> site: Operating System Linux Linux Screen Resolution 1400 x 1050 Web Browser Chrome 22.0.1229.94 Browser Size 1400 x 933 Color Depth 24 Javascript Enabled Flash Version 11.2.202 Cookies Enabled User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/22.0.1229.94 Safari/537.4
