So, the new sheet seems to work reasonably well, but every time I open a sheet, it adds these empty attacks outlined in red that do not work if you add info to them.  Could we also get the "Attention" dialog to auto-hide?

Hi Scott,
Are you saying EVERY TIME you open the sheet 3 new attacks are added?  There has been an issue where with no other attacks present editing something like STR or BAB(maybe other attributes), would create 1-3 new attacks.  Which version of the sheet are you using(v.19 is current live sheet)? Browser?
I believe we have a fix in the works(https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2817721/repeating-fields-issues-pathfinder-sheet) that will get merged with the next update.

The Attention text should only be open the first time, after that, your sheet, including the attention text "should" retain it's last state.  If it's not, there may be a bug.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Vince.

Yes, every time I open a sheet (existing or new character) there are anywhere from 2 additional attacks to as many as 8.  This is without editing any attribute at all, only opening the sheet and going to the attacks tab if I'm not already there.

As for the attention tab, it does keep it's status on already created sheets like it's supposed to, but is there any way to just set it as "I've read it, I'm aware, I don't need it on every sheet I make"?

Also, is it roll20 or the sheet that is not triggering the pathfinder compendium to appear in game and allow drag/drop of compendium entries?

Thanks for all your work on the sheet,

Scott

You're welome.
I can verify this is still an issue.  Chris and Riley have seemingly worked it out here: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2817721/repeatin... and we'll have a fix submitted this weekend.  Appologies.  ;-(

There really isn't a way AFAIK to set an option for all sheets like:  close attention text.  We have to show it to people initially(new sheets or people opening a sheet across multiple version updates) in order to let them know what has changed and how the sheet could be broken if certain directions are not followed.  I agree it's ugly and distracting, but that's the point.  ;-)  Eventually we will hide it by default, but there have been so many major changes to the sheet we've opted to keep it open for now.

Thanks Vince,

I kind of figured that was the plan for the attention dialog, but I could hope. :)  Sorry for the double question on the compendium, helps if I check my other forum posts before asking a second time.

I submitted the request to update the sheet

https://github.com/Roll20/roll20-character-sheets/pull/1358

maybe they will take pity on us and push it out live on the weekend.
hopefully this will fix it,

I wouldn't call it "pity" but I do enjoy pushing out code with my morning coffee :-). Should be live.
