[Help] Creating and Testing New Sheets

Hi. Sorry for the basic question, but I couldn't find an explicit answer in the wiki,FAQ, or search: Do I need to be a Pro subscriber to make a sheet? Possible answers: 1. Anyone can access the git repo so from a technical sense the answer seems to be "No". 2. However, I don't see any way that I could actually test the sheet as a free user so the answer seems to be "Yes". Related: How do you test the sheet? My guess is that you have to be a Pro subscriber and gain access to some set of panels where you can copy/past your HTML/CSS into it and repeatedly check. Is that right? Thanks in advance.

You are correct in your assumptions - Any free user can use any of the Sheets from the drop-down menu, anyone can build a Sheet, but only Pros can use "Custom Sheets" thus being able to test their work in Roll20 (an area to copy/past your HTML/CSS just as you mentioned).&nbsp; You can find more on our Subscriptions here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/account/supporter" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/account/supporter</a> Or visit our Building Character Sheet wiki for more information on that:&nbsp; <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Building_Character_Sheets" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Building_Character_Sheets</a>
You can get the default styling for Roll20, and use it as some sort of base when using certain html/css/java programs that have a preview or test area. &nbsp; Its discussed in&nbsp; this conversation , if you are interested. I'm a pro user, and make sheets using the preview pane, having a game opened in another tab, and lots of saving. &nbsp;A lots of "Why is it doing that ?"

Avacyn: Thanks for the confirmation. I'd imagine Roll20 would get more sheet contributions faster if&nbsp;sheet development&nbsp;wasn't a Pro feature. After all, a free user developing a sheet makes a lasting contribution to the community. I guess that's one for the suggestion box. Coal Powered Puppet: Thanks for the tip on the default CSS files. That will probably come in handy.
