A really new player looking to play either Call of Cthulhu or Dungeons & Dragons or other fantasy themed games

First of all, I never play any Tabletop Role-Playing Game. I got interested a few years ago when I search information about Role-Playing Game other than video games (e.g. Tabletop, Live Action Role-Playing Game). I play a lot of video games (especially RPGs) and I really love them. My favorite ones are Elder Scrolls series, Dragon Age series, Witcher series, Mass Effect series, and Fallout series. I'm really interested about medieval fantasy and mystery fantasy. That's why I want to learn about Tabletop RPGs to play Dungeons & Dragons (I watch high fantasy movies such as Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, and read fantasy novels such as The Broken Empire series, The First Law series, Malazan Book of the Fallen) and Call of Cthulhu (I read many H.P. Lovecraft short stories e.g. The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror (my favorite), The Whisperer In Darkness, At The Mountain of Madness, The Shadow Over Innsmouth (another favorite), The Haunter of the Dark) I'm still new to roll20 and Tabletop RPG, so a chance to play with someone who want to play with a noob and teach me about the ways of Tabletop RPG would be great!
Do you care if there are steampunk elements in your fantasy, such as guns and robots?  Do you have any interest in being part of a nomadic tribe in the bad lands?  If you find these things acceptable, then I may be able to help you.  I love bringing new people into the fold.
Well sure, why not? Elder Scrolls series have a bit steampunk fantasy (e.g. their dwarves have automatons which have steampunk elements) and I'm okay with it. Sure, I'm interested beign a part of a nomadic tribe. Well, thank you for helping me to understand this game ahaha. Really look forward to join.
Oh I forgot, I have Skype but my microphone isn't in order, so I could only play text without audio or video, I'm so sorry.
Hello there, thanks for the heads up. Yep, I already create a post on the Call of Cthulhu game you mentioned. Waiting for confirmation right now. I'm actually reading the handbooks of D&D and Call of Cthulhu right now, figuring out about the games and all. Too bad I can't open that group you mentioned :( Thanks! I really enjoy this community respond on new players, unlike other online video games community out there lol
I am looking for a voice chat CoC game.  If you're still trying to get one together, Isaac, keep me informed and I will join you.
Well actually I can't play using voice chat 'cause my mic is currently broken. If you're okay playing with a guy who only texts, that would be cool though.
If you could get a mic, then you could join´ us:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2908628/wanna-pl" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2908628/wanna-pl</a>...
