Shortcuts and Macros for changing layers as GM

Is there a way i can make macros for switching layers, specifically for the Dynamic lighting layer. I cant find the shortcut button, and i have a terrible memory anyways, putting 2 macros on my screen for Switch to Lighting and Switch to Token, would be nice. Thanks.
I don't know if there are macros, but if you click the Info button on the left-hand side, it will list the shortcuts. I'm going by memory here, but: Ctrl-M for Map layer; Ctrl-O for Character; and Ctrl-K for GM.
Brett M. is correct. I know of no way to switch which Layer is currently being viewed by using a macro, and I don't believe the API can do so, either (but don't take my word for it). The keyboard shortcuts posted above are correct, and can be found on the Roll20 Wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Keyboard_Shortcuts#Layers

Hi Marty, in addition to the information above for viewing layers, as a Pro user you could use TokenMod which, while not able to influence your view with a macro, would allow you to make a macro for sending tokens (ie. graphics) to whatever level you need, including walls. If, like me, you struggle to remember where things are when setting your lighting etc you can draw your wall lines on the layer that suits your memory and then use a TokenMod macro to send them to the 'walls' layer :) Combined with the view shortcuts mentioned previously it makes mapping simple (for me at least).

Get a mouse that has programmable buttons. You can map the buttons to use the "quick" button like "m" for map layer etc.

there is no shortcut for the dynamic lighting layer though, thats the root of the problem. Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+O: Move selected object to token layer Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+K: Move selected object to GM layer Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+M: Move selected object to map layer

Certainly a valid frustration, I'll see what I can find out for you Marty...
I've had good luck using a third party product, outside of Roll20, called AutoHotKey. All of the user defined keys are held in a text file and you can program anything you want on any key (or combination) you want. So to use Marty's example you can define Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+O, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+K, and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+M to <Alt>q, <Alt>a, and <Alt>z. I personally use TokenMod, which you have to be a Pro subscriber to use, with macros.
It seems like you guys are all in need of our Advanced Keyboard Shortcuts: https://wiki.roll20.net/Advanced_Shortcuts There are shortcuts for switching to the Dynamic Lighting layer, moving selected items to all the layers, etc. Hope that helps!
ah ha!
