[LFG] Old player (New to roll20) looking for D&D to start then expansion!

Looking to get back into the things.  The hardest part will be the time zone issues and having a two year old kid... but besides that this should be easy right! I live in Japan (+9 GMT) and would like to do things by text if possible.  If so, I might be able to sneak on at work *wink* it shouldn't be too hard but I might disappear for a few for service calls!  If you have anything or any suggestions please send me a message or reply on here.  Thanks :)

Can you receive voice, or do you need purely text?

Right now without killing data I would need text if it's during weekdays.  Weekends are iffy since we snowboard and don't stay home a lot.

As much as I hate to direct you to another site, play by post games seem to fit better for what you are looking for.

Text-only games on Roll20 are extremely viable. Furthermore, Roll20 has many play-by-post communities—one of the most popular ones is Knights of the Written Word .

Thank you Silvyre!  I will look there.  For everyone, if it is voice or voice and video what platforms do you use normally for it?

I primarily use Google Hangouts, but Skype works too.
