Any way to deactivate that thing where a circle appears when you hold the mouse down?

Or to change the settings? It keeps going off whenever I try to drag a piece, and it's incredibly distracting.

The ping function should only be going off if you are actively clicking and hold in the same spot. It shouldn't be going off when you're dragging images on the Tabletop. Is it going off during the drag?

This happens to me and my group as well. Ping is very sensitive. - Gauss
It's also laggy and doesn't persist long enough to be of much use unless everyone happens to be looking at the screen right at that moment. Hence why I created the token pointer arrow and target icons in a variety of colors.

JonathanTheBlack: Could you explain what you mean by it being laggy? - Gauss
It doesn't always ping right away. Sometimes it'll ping twice in the same spot or it only appears briefly with a very fast animation. I don't find it useful at all.

Thanks Jonathan. - Gauss

yeah, I only find the ping useful as the DM to shift view...my players prefer to use the paint feature. If sound was added, id surely want the option to turn it off...just saying.
I actually like the Ping feature.
My players actually figured out that the Distance took is pretty useful. Target what you mean, move it a few pixel and you get a nice arrow on top of it. But I can confirm too that Ping is very sensitive. I try to target that "turn token" thingy for example and 50% of the time it pings as well, if I don't move the mouse quickly enough. Or I target a token to move it, and ping... a Ping.

I honestly prefer the maptool version where you hold shift or the spacebar or some combination and it pops up an arrow or something where your cursor is as long as you continue holding it.
A button ping would be better than hold the mouse down and hope it works. I can atest to the others that the ping is very finnicky and does not always work or even want to work. It mocks me at times to. :)
