Projector and Roll20... How to?

Hi guys, i'm new here and i was planning an adventure using roll20 with my firends. I read something about on this forum but i learned almost nothing about how to make it work.  I want to do it with a single computer, using internet and projecting the "instance" of the players with a top - down projector directly to the table. Players will use their own miniatures to move on the table, and the same with the monsters. (the only purpose of roll20 is the map with "shadowed" areas). The problems are: 1) how can i show (with the projector) only the map without all the others writings and windows on the sides of the page? 2) how can i show them only the "instance" of the players when i am revealing portions of the map, with the DM instance? Maybe there are ways i've not found yet, maybe there are other solutions... Any advice?

Hi Marco, I'll try to give you some solutions. 1)  You can use this bookmarklet to hide all the UI from Roll20: javascript:(function(){$("#zoomslider").css("display","none");$("#floatingtoolbar").css("display","none");$("#sidebarcontrol").css("display","none").click();$("#playerzone").css("display","none");$("#initiativewindow").parent().css("left","-10000px")})(); What you're left with is just the map grid.  You can put that text in a bookmark and then click it when you're on the VTT as a player. 2) I would suggest using the Incognito feature of Chrome to open a second session onto Roll20.  You would then just login as a player (or rejoin as a player if you're only using the one account).  Just be sure to give control of all PCs to that account and they will see the composite view of all the players.  You can then put that window on the projector. You'll want to have some token representing the players (I suggest a pure white circle so as not to discolor the minis).  Honestly, if you're not using character sheets or macros or the dice in the game for players, you don't even need a character for that token, just the token.  You'll want to name it so you can track who is whom.  When they move their mini, you can just move the token on your screen to update their view. Be careful not to shift-ping the map unless you really intend on scroll as you'll need to realign all the minis.  I suggest being mindful about where you center each view, possibly put a marker on the GM layer, so you can quickly realign the screen to the minis if you mess it up. =D Let us know how it goes!  (and Pictures would be cool!)
mmm thank you for the advices! for the 1) i found out a better way, cause my projector can zoom, so it can cut the borders of the window easily. When i'll have to turn page i think the only way is to stop the projector streaming for a few seconds and set up the next map. I will send some pictures :)
