LFP Battletech

Since Roll20 can work as a Hexmap who'd be interested in some Battletech or perhaps Mechwarrior Tabletop? I've got most of the necessary books and mechsheets can be found easily online. Who's in?
Never heard of this. I would like to learn more.
Battletech is a classic Table Top Miniatures game.  It is all about mechs, but ones very different from the standard anime mecha.  The game has been around in various forms for a very long time.

I would definitely be up for a MechWarrior campaign
I have the Mechwarrior core and the Solaris 7 expansion books from the last company to own the rights. None of the current companies stuff yet, but if we could get enough people for it I might be convinced to run the game but I'd definately play.
Whoa, I would be so stocked for a battle tech game. I was obsessed with that universe as a kid. Tried to play a figurine game but could never find anyone interested. What era are you going to put it in?
The era would come down to a discussion with the players.  I know the lore really well and have read a ton of the novels.  It would be an inner sphere mercenary company game.  Whether it would be pre or post clan would be decided after a discussion with the players.  If you wanted to do some space faring I could make it a combat game on the border worlds as the clans first invade.  Or if you wanted something more ground based a Solaris VII arena game is also possible, that would be fun for non mechwarriors, maybe saboteurs working for the mob kinda thing?  I'd also make salvage a big deal, you keep what you kill and all that.
Count me in!! But I'm fairly new both roll20 and table top. If you'll take me.
If I can get it together then I'l put you on the list.
Hello. I'm definitely interested in this group. I'm a Battletech noob if that's alright, but I can read up on the basics before we start. My one question: what kind of group are you running? Heavy roleplaying, mostly combat, etc. I like a good mix of both, and I'm not sure if Battletech caters to that or not. Thanks!
If I can get it going the way I want, I would like to do a good bit of role playing with the characters outside of battle, with mech battles and such peppered throughout.  For example, if I were running a Solaris V!! Arena world game the group would be a Crew of mech jocks and their support staff depending on who wanted to play what.  There would be role play as the group sets up matches and haggles for parts on the street with the occasional scrapes with street toughs, dirty cops,  and mafia racketeers.  Then, when time for the match came it would switch to the battletech hex map robots go boom part of the game.
I'm probably down for that. Let me know When you have more details on start time and whatnot. Thanks.

I would love to join up for this. Playing will force me to stay up late working on the character sheets! What Days and times are you looking to play?
I haven't considered a set time yet, I was testing interest level first.  I have a fairly flexible schedule so for now I'm not really stuck with any specific time slot in mind.  I usually work mornings so most evenings would work for me.
interested, really want to play some battletech and I've been looking into learning the system recently
