Arrrr ye lookin' for a Pathfinder group? Be ye interested in a swashbuckling campaign on the high seas? Look no further!
I'm posting to look at potentially starting a Skull & Shackles Pathfinder Adventure path here in the near future (Couple weeks at the latest). If there be interest, we'll do it! If not, ah well.
The campaign itself is a thoroughly aquatic campaign - The campaign takes place in an Archepelago known as the Shackles, which is shielded by most nations by a permanent Hurricane - the Eye of Abendego. During this adventure, you'll be either on the high-seas in a ship, in the water, or on an island near the water. Therefore, if you don't want anything to do with water and ship-based combat, this campaign will not be for you. If, however, you relish the idea of making a Druid who bends the wind and seas to his will, are secretly a wannabe Jack Sparrow, or for some odd reason, idolize Aquaman, then this campaign might just be for you!
I'm looking for 4-5 (6 at most) players who are interested in playing once or twice a week.

*Edit* Please send me a message with your character regarding a spot in this campaign. Since there does look to be enough interest in getting it started, it would allow me to organize who's going to be joining easier.
Also message me what times and days are good for you. We seem to be looking at Sundays so far.
Thanks!

For those interested, the rules I have planned out are as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-We will NOT be using Video or Voice. This will be a PURELY text-based campaign through roll20. If you wish to elaborate with the other players on Skype or any other means, you are free to do so. I myself will not be able to do so, however.
-Time and Date to be discussed with potential players. I'm in Mountain-Time (UTC-7), and have a mostly open schedule, minus Thursday Evenings.
-Any Paizo sourcebook is allowed
-No 3rd-Party books, except POSSIBLY Psionics Unleashed. Speak to me beforehand.
-Core Races from the Players Handbook only - Though alternate Racial abilities from various books are allowed
-All Classes are allowed EXCEPT the Paladin
-25 Point Build, Average Starting Gold for your Class, Full Hp at 1st level
-Three Traits - One MUST be a campaign trait from the Skull And Shackles Players Guide
(*Note* Rich Parents is not allowed as a trait)
-Any Alignments are allowed (Even Evil), but note that Lawful will have a harder time in this campaign, as the campaign is very neutral and chaotic in theme.
-Roleplaying will be highly encouraged, while uber-power gaming discouraged, and meta-gaming (Reading the adventure path, etc) greatly discouraged. Making a strong character, while roleplaying well, is quite alright, however. I'll just adjust the campaign as necessary if it gets too easy ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe I've covered all the rules.. if anyone notices anything I've missed, let me know.
I'd highly recommend taking a look at both the Skull and Shackles Player's Guide
(Downloaded Here for Free: http://paizo.com/products/btpy8rwc?Pathfinder-Adventure-Path-Skull-Shackles-Players-Guide ) as well as http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/pirates-arrr-us on the Pathfinder SRD page, listing things such as good archetypes for this kind of campaign, pirate equipment, etc. One other book I'd take a gander at if possible is the Pirates of the Inner Sea Companion book, if you have it.
Please message me or post here for interest! I'm already going to be running this campaign with a group of RL friends on Thursdays, and its such an awesome campaign that I'd like to also run with a group of you guys on here.
I'm available for messaging if interested and you need help in creating a good character for this kind of campaign (Swim skill is HIGHLY recommended, by the way). Plus, I have a few premade characters available should anyone want 'em.
