40k Rogue Trader - Player or GM

If I GM, will likely have to modify the rules a bit to fix annoyances in the system, and bring in content from OW/BC; I'll do this transparently and up front. My availability is probably a bit crap for the next month or two, after that I'm game for weekends. Figured I'd might as well get the ball rolling, edit in a link after I read up more on the system. I've played BC/OW/DH, new to Rogue Trader.  Anyone else interested?

Interested indeed. Though I'm new to Rogue Trader and 40K RPG in general I've been dying to play it for months now.

I'm always down to play, I'm currently a DM so I'm fairly co fortable with the rules. What changes are you wanting to make exactly? Be nice to know going in before commitments are made etc.

@Deus- Yeah, I totally get that, I'm the same way. I haven't played Rogue Trader yet, I've just heard of things making the game a bit less fun from friends. In one example, the ship rolled high Ship Points initially- killing the loot progression for powering it up. Some tactical mechanics might be nice(Dodge-to-cover being an example I liked from Dark Heresy).  I'd like to get input(and google) and hammer those details out BEFORE worrying about the other bits. After reading the books a bit more :-) If anyone is game for GMing that would also be nice; I volunteer only because it's more likely to get a game going.

We should probably get some sort of day of the week set before we make any concrete plans.

I'm good on Fridays. Would be glad to join. New to the 40k ruleset but big on the lore/games.

Add me to the interested party list on Fridays. :-) I've got some experience with OW, and I'm brushing up on the changes between 1e and 2e DH, so I might be able to help with rules issues as well. RT I've only read, but I do know the problems there. I'd have to re-read to help out, but I could do it. :-)

I'd like to join too, the last group i played RT with kind of fell apart as the GM had a lot of work to take care of. I do have 2 caracters available, an arch-militant and an arch-heretek (explorator alternate career path).  i'm good most days of the week, however on fridays and saturdays are preferred, because i can stay up much later on those days.\ edit: i live in the CET (GMT +01:00) timezone

I'm up for some 40k RPGin'! I'm available all friday but I gotta bail after 5 pm on saturdays (GMT+1). Before that I'm usually free. I like them all - though I'd prefer the other four over Dark Heresy since I'm not a super huge "investigation with limited resources" kind of guy. I like being able to do cool stuff and have big guns!
