Offline Pathfinder Character Creation

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, so I apologize in advance if it's not. So... I'm a beginner programmer and trying to make my own offline character creation program so I can kind of quickly make characters offline without racking up huge hours on here that aren't directly related to either playing a game or creating a game, and I feel like it'd help me understand the process of making characters a little better and allow me to make better characters. I'd be perfectly fine to share the source code or whatever if anyone would like to see it. I'm using Visual Basic 2015 in the Visual Studio 2015 environment. I also plan on integrating the Pathfinder PRD into it, but that's an easier job that I think I already have figured out. Currently, the issue I'm having with the character creation segment of it is simply trying to get the stats to change when changing the race... I can get the stat total to change when increasing or decreasing the points into the stat with a NumericUpDown. I'd like to try and use this knowledge and skill to hopefully contribute to R20 someday, but I know that might be a bit off for right now. Anyways... I would like to thank anyone who even takes the time out of their day to read this and would like to greatly thank anyone who is willing to help me.

VB.Net is useful in that you can use it to learn many programming concepts. For what it's worth, though, from what I understand Roll20 is written using Ruby and JavaScript.
Ah... I see... Still... Just getting the basics down and how basic relationships work and will help learning new languages in the future.

Qwerty, I would highly recommend you email the devs at <a href="mailto:Team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">Team@roll20.net</a> if you are going to create it to be compatible with roll20. There are aspects to roll20 (coding and possibly legal wise) that none of us are aware of and the devs will be able to point you in the correct direction.
Ah. Okay. Will do. So far, R20 has a really nice community and I love it! I want to be able to contribute to it sometime in the future.&nbsp;
Hi&nbsp; qwerty4132 - please so send us a message and I will be happy to do my best to answer your questions. I am going to go ahead and close this thread, but if you have any other Roll20 specific questions you are welcome to start a new one!&nbsp;
