Roll20 voice crashes Firefox.

When I try to activate voice chat in roll20, it crashes Firefox. It works just fine in Chrome, however.

(I moved this thread to the Bug Reports & Technical Issues forum , so we can focus on troubleshooting.) Hey Matrix , I'm sorry to hear that you're having audio issues with Firefox. Let's carefully work through Steps 1 through 8 of the Roll20 guide to Audio Visual Troubleshooting : Step 1: Make sure you’re using the most recent version of either Chrome or Firefox Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Already done! Step 2: Give Roll20 permission to use your microphone and camera Step 3: Make sure Video and Voice are turned on inside Roll20 Step 4: Clear your Web Browser’s Cache Step 5: Make sure you have the right ports open Step 6: Check if your camera is working with WebRTC Step 7: Check that your camera is functioning Step 8: Do a bandwidth test If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 9 : Step 9: Solving Technical Issues Step 9.2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please be sure to disable all extensions/add-ons as well as all anti-virus programs. Step 9.4: Provide a bug report Please ensure that the console log is complete. Thank you!
Hi, I suppose I'm submitting a formal bug report now. So, what exactly happens is that when I enter a game in roll20 that has voice activated, or activate voice in a game that previously did not have it activated, Firefox crashes. This only happens if there is at least one other person in the game at the time, because the voice chat functionality does not appear to activate if there is only one person in a game. I do not activate video because I do not have a camera, so I don't think that is the issue. I cleared my cache as instructed and that did not solve the issue. The TokBox Connectivity Doctor's tests all gave me the message 'successful'. My bandwidth: http://www.speedtest.net/result/5092587125.png Operating System Windows Windows NT 10.0 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Web Browser Firefox 44.0 Browser Size 1920 x 971 Color Depth 24 bit Javascript Enabled Flash Version 20.0.-1 Cookies Enabled My antivirus software is Avast, but I don't think it is at fault because its Firefox add-on is disabled. Otherwise, my only add-ons are NoScript are EPUBReader. Everything to do with Roll20 is whitelisted in NoScript. Disabling these add-ons did not solve the issue. Interestingly, I only began to have this problem after I installed a new graphics card, an EVGA GeForce GTX 960. But, as I said before, I do not activate video in Roll20, so I do not see how that could be at fault. I've done some digging, and I've found some errors that sound similar to the one your having. With your new card and its new drivers did it install something called Nvidia Network Manager? If it did, try uninstalling this to see if that helps. If that didn't get installed, or doesn't fix your issue, make sure to submit the bug report when it happens. After you've submitted the bug report you can go to the address bar in FireFox and type "about:crashes" to view these submitted reports. From here you can share the link to the last few crashes here, so that I can do some further digging. (these bug reports will have more info)
I do not have NVIDIA Network Manager. Here are all the related crash reports aside from the one I already gave you: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/06e7e... https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/262b2... https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/4ed5d... https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/24c75... https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/d8a35...

According to these crash reports, they are being caused by ntdll.dll, which is a windows dll. It looks like these crashes are being caused by windows system/video driver issues, which are outside of what I'm able to help with. I found a thread that looks like it might be able to help, but other than that there really isn't much else I can do, sorry. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1090692
