Is it possible to have two DMs for a game at the same time?

The reason I ask is that the DM is almost always swamped with switching between screens, monitoring the chat, answering private chat questions, keeping track of damage dealt and received from the NPCs and Creatures, and verbally bringing the tale to life.   It can really be very taxing to keep up with. I want to know if it is possible for a DM to give another person DM level access that would allow the use of the sound board?   I am a big believer that having the right background sounds, special effects, and music can really enhance a game session.  This would have to be done with a great deal of coordination between the two individuals ahead of time, but I believe it would benefit the the overall campaign experience.   Looking forward to your answer... Yes you can. Just promote the player to GM status.
Thanks for the quick reply

No problem. I have a board with 6 players and almost all of them are promoted to GM status because we all are laying out a joint effort setting.

Sounds very helpful, takes a load off of your shoulders, and opens up options.  I am thinking of offering my services as sound engineer for DMs who could use a second set of hands.

If you are into music then join soundcloud and upload your music to it. You can then tag it as roll20 and whatever else you decide. There is a good demand for appropiate background music and sound effects.
So if a player gets promoted to DM Status they will be able to run the game also?  I am in a situation in which I run a few side quests when our DM/GM can't run a game.  In the last one the side quest was a pretty good idea and the DM may want to continue it for a bit longer, my question is since I created the game, maps, and other things, can I have the DM join as a player, promote him to GM status and then he can continue running the game?  How will I interact in the game if I am a player?  Will I be able to control others and see everything as well? I can role-play not knowing what is going on if need be, but I think it would be really cool for our GM to try to run the game. Thanks for any info.

After entering the game you can use the player mode (found in the settings tab) to switch from GM mode to Player mode. I suggest that you create a 'Welcome' page and set the player ribbon to that until you or the other GM are ready to game. It will allow you (or the other GM) to switch to player mode without seeing anything important. - Gauss
I have seen the player mode and I have used it to how the game looks for my line of sight and light sources.  So if I give someone DM/GM status I can player mode out and he can GM mode in?
