It would be cool if players would have some kind of notepad where they can type and maybe even draw own things onto.

I would LOVE for players to be able to edit their BIO section, if I've assigned the 'character' to them. That's less for me to keep up with.

If players/gm's could add "pages" to each journal entry, they could keep notes, character sheets, or whatever you want in them. And players should definitely have control to add/edit entries. It's their journal after all.
