State of the Art 8/17 Progress: 100% Quaint Town 100% Battle Terrains: Expanded Tech   15% Modern Room Builder   15% Chess Module   10% Museum of Forbidden Arts   10% Token Miniatures - Elves     5% Token Miniatures - Gnomes/Halflings Allo, Went longer than I would have liked before posting another State of the Art.  Since our last installment , two new sets have been released :) Battle Terrains: Expanded Tech is now up on the marketplace.  Although it can stand on its own, it is meant to compliment Basic Tech by adding in the option to apply roads across the whole map along with light and heavy forests to provide additional terrain challenges for mech battles.  Naturally there's also new swamp and marsh terrains along with another new set of giant robots to add more variety. I also managed to finish up work on Quaint Town .  It is an 85 asset set that just like Rustic Village allows you to use roofs to build an entire village or town by placing them on a field of grass.  However, it also includes a huge set of tiles to show both wood floor and dirt floor interiors to the houses which can be hidden beneath the roof tiles and then revealed by moving the roof tiles to the GM layer so that players can now not only do battle around a town map, but they can also venture inside the buildings too.  The hut and house tiles can even be joined together to create even larger structures for exploration, thus allowing the set to stand on its own as a dungeon set as well as a town making set. Based on feedback from my original fantasy race poll, it seems obvious that folks really want a Gnome and Halfling set.  I've done some groundwork on it while simultaneously working on elves (for my own enjoyment).  It's proving to be a little more challenging than I originally expected, but both sets look like they have promise.  It's just going to require some good old fashioned hard work and time commitment to bring them to light. Here's an example of my attempting to take a human base figure and turn it in to a halfling render.   And here's an example of an elf I've been contemplating on using as well: I've also started a project to help get me involved with offering Modules on Roll20.  Not RPG scenarios yet, but just basic board games as a way of getting my feet wet with learning how modules get set up and produced through Roll20.  As a simple and straightforward option my first attempt is to create a Chess and Checkers module.  Ideally it'll offer a selection of a couple different boards, and if I can I'll also include an option for the 3D board concept from Star Trek and/or other Chess variants that folks have developed over the years.  Here's an example of the basic Wood themed board that I've created so far. I hope to also dabble in creating other open domain board games such as Parcheesi, Mancala, Senet (because who doesn't love ancient Egyptian board games?). So yes, lots of stuff planned and in progress.  It's all a matter of time :)

How about a Shogi board? Note: I am mostly kidding, few people play Shogi. - Gauss

I personally imagine halflings to be a bit more stocky than just a shrunk-down human. Having more game options for use in Roll20 would be great. I wish you could play more tavern-type games within your RPG campaign. We can simulate card and dice games within Roll20 of course, but other options would be fun.
