I'm wanting to make a tabletop turn-based strategy game where you build up armies and try to dominate the other players' castles while protecting your own. Once we complete the game, you can go on and form your own groups to play the game if you want and use all of the content we put together. Kinds of people I'm looking for: Friendly Cooperative Fun Fairly Creative (not having to draw or anything if you don't want to) Can tolerate a noob Willing to test out the game as we build COMMUNICATE (via pm's, in-game chat archive thing, email, skype, whatever... as long as we all agree to it and have access to it) So the general idea I have for the game is that each player can create their own army via tokens and can move their token army all over the map. There will be a world map, base maps, and possibly secret passages (not necessary but would be nice. Every turn, the commanding player will get some resources and can build their army or move/attack, not both ( I feel that adds some critical thinking into the game, but definitely willing to negotiate if we can't really get this to work out well). Each token will have it's own stats (i.e. hp, atk, def, move, sight, recruit cost). When in attacking, the attack is checked against the defense, then combat rolls are done for bonus attack/defense (or we can wipe this out if it's too messy/confusing). Upon conquering a base, the conqueror gets whatever resources the player had in their base. There will be fog of war so each player won't be able to see what the other is doing. If you're interested in trying this out with me, I'll be glad to have you as a part of the group. If you have any questions about this please pm me. If you would like to apply to join me on this, then leave your application here in this thread. Application Form: What you would like to be called? Why you would like to help in making this game? What are some qualities about you? Why do you think you'd be of help? Would you be willing to be a dedicated member of the group? What are the fourth (4th) and ninth (9th) traits I listed under the kinds of people I'm looking for? I'm looking forward to working with others to make something fun. And whomever read all of this, CONGRATS!!!, and I hope you have a good day/evening. Qwerty
