[LFG] D&D 5E - New To Tabletop, Weekdays

Hello everybody! I am very new to the idea of Tabletop, but I've sprung a little bit of interest as of lately and have been itching to give it a try! I had no idea where to start, and was forwarded to this site and told to that trying D&D 5E will be the easiest option for a beginner such as myself. I like fantasy type games (not a big fan of Sci-Fi), and am a lover of the Final Fantasy series, and have delved into MMOs such as WoW, FFXI, and FFXIV. If any smaller groups are willing to take on a newbie to teach me the ropes it would be much appreciated! Thanks! I am available 6 EST-12 EST on Weekdays.
Im trying to run a 5e homebrew world adventure. I'm welcome to help show you the ropes. I need players, and since i run text only, its tough and Im open to anyone.
I appreciate the offer, but I was kind of hoping to run more than just a text campaign, to get a full feel of the tabletop experience.
Alright, no problem. You'd prefer to have voice chat?
Yeah I'm looking for a game that has Voice Chat for a more authentic experience. Text based just wouldn't do it for me, because I want to be laughing with the other players and DM and hear it.

I am new to this and I would really love to learn. I have tried to go play locally but I have to travel very far and I can't go often enough to really learn the game. If you don't mind teaching while playing I would like to join. I have the 5e basic rule book and some dice.

Not sure if you're still looking, but I could do Tuesday-Thursday (and some Mondays, but only every other); I'd be better off starting nearer the end of your available times (I'm on Arizona time, and I'm assuming that you mean 6-12 PM). Do you have other players lined up? Were you planning to run the game, or to simply find players for it? If you need a GM, I could do it, but I'd prefer to hand it off after a certain amount of time if I did so; my local group is flaky and we're unlikely to see much play during the semester (most of them are college students), but if things picked up I'd be running two or three games a week potentially.
