So what exactly am I looking for here? Well not necessarely a specific game system. I know savage worlds as far as sci-fi goes, also know fallout I guess. I am willing to learn other systems provided they aren't a nightmare to learn like shadowrun. As for things I'm looking for in the game. Well honestly I'm looking for something that allows me to feel like I'm playing a character that actually is a badass or a hero on level of power. Too many games if not almost all just put you at low stats, bad gear and say, work your way up. There is nothing wrong with that but this time I want something different, something that actually makes me feel like I can actually do a lot and am spoiled for choice. So instead of that lowly soldier who just got that old piece of junk they call armor and that puny laser pistol that wouldn't kill an ant. I'd like to be that guy in power armor with a highly customised laser rifle or plasma rifle that can put the hurt to the bad guys (or good guys, I'm not picky for which side I fight :P). A little bit about myself. I'm 31 years old from Portugal and I've been RPing for a while. I play savage worlds and D&D, also know the rules for warhammer roleplay and fallout though I haven't got to play those. I'm also familiar with roll20. As far as being a roleplayer I play in both fields. On one side I take my roleplay seriously and do care about a good story and a world I can interact with and affect it through my deeds. On the other side I also like to make my characters as good as possible from a mechanial point. doesn't means I always min-max, but usually my character will tend to work towards a concept and will fit in that concept as well as possible.
