Planescape AD&D 2nd Edition EST Evenings

After seeing a friend of my try to run a pathfinder planescape conversion and it just fell flat, I decided to break out the old 2nd edition THAC0 and 1 Spell Wizards for a Planescape game. Since I don't know what kind of group I'll get I'm going to start it off using a published module The Eternal Boundary, and after a getting a good grasp of the party we'll move into more free form adventure paths. Is anyone interested?

I would be interested. I played BX and AD&D way back in the day. I've played a lot of 3.5e and 4e in the last many years. I'm itching for something old school. 

Would you let a first timer like me get in too? I just don't have anywhere to start, would love to play.

I would like to join in, too. I come from the most recent edition, if I am right, but it has been quite enjoyable! If you don't mind a human or elf druid in the party, I would be more than happy to join as another party member.

I'd  be happy to let a first timer go, I've only ever played Adnd before but Dmed many RPGS in the post d20 world.  This would be a first level party (the only way to do it really) and lets do a seriously classic 3d6 roll but I'll give you freedom to choose what stat goes where. This was oddly how the game was designed, so a 7 or a 12 was not a bad score in 2nd edition, it was honestly viable and a 15 was like having a 20+ in 3rd edition. It will work trust me and for new comers you'll enjoy this old school stats once you start playing.  My restrictions are simply being a Primer, in Planescape terms that means your character was accidentally teleported to Planescape and has no idea at all about the setting, and that's it. Any of the Races (as long as you meet the stat requirements) are fine and if you qualify for a class play it. I promise to put in an a whole lot of effort to make the game pop out you like it did to me when I got to play it, and you'll love the strangeness and what your character becomes because of the world more than you are used to in RPGS. 

Hey there. Just wondering if you've got room for one more. In terms of roleplaying I've got many years of experience. I've only vaguely looked into the mechanics of AD&D, but I'm quite familiar with being both a DM and player in several different systems; I should be able to catch on quickly.

Samuel I'm willing to take up to 6 players, you'd be the 4th to show interest so that's a good start. The system might have a learning curve but most of the work will be on my end after character creation, it will be more roleplaying than rolls, and I'll handle the brunt of the mechanics as a DM should. Also, to further viewers: I welcome veterans who know the ins and out of the Kits and races of Ad&D to come, this isn't a lets learn Ad&d for fun and move on game, I really love the planescape setting and think the only way to run it is in it's original form and it is absolutely worth it to play it for people who've never experienced it.

The link is giving a "Not Authorized" error. I think that you have to either put it in Looking for Group mode or invite us as players before it'll work. (Not positive on that.) I'm in Los Angeles, so 3 hours earlier. Saturday is the best day for me. Thursday would be next best. 

I think I fixed the issue let me know if it's still a problem.
