I am looking for 1-2 players to join my ongoing
hexcrawl Dungeon World campaign. Dungeon World is an excellent RPG by
Sage LaTorra and Adam Koebel that is beginner-friendly and runs on
player creativity. The game is set in a dying region where the discovery of lost knowledge is as much of a reward for exploration as treasure. The central government has collapsed, the remnants of humanity have split into small communities that are locked in a state of cold war, and strange horrors roam the countryside. No elves, orcs, or other high fantasy cliches here. The format is slightly akin to West Marches, but without the rotating cast or the restrictive one-shot limitation. Because
of this, I am looking for players that can get enthusiastic and creative
about this kind of setting, and that can respect the tone of the game
(not that joking is prohibited, but excessively silly character concepts are). Because of the player-driven nature of the game, the game itself has been very diverse. Some sessions consisted only of travel, exploration, and combat, while others were all about espionage and politics. Currently the players are doing mercenary work, helping one of the factions set up a spy ring in a settlement, so you can expect to do that for a session or two before the party takes to the wilderness again. We typically play weekly, though our next session starts in 2 weeks time on the 5th of March. If you are interested, or have any questions,
please send a private message or a forum post my way. Thanks!
