Hi, I'm completely new to the tabletop scene as a player, but I've been exposed to some Vampire The Masquerade and lots of podcasts over the years. Lately, I listened through The Campaign and it really got me interested in, well, everything. I'm looking for an Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion game. I've read through the EotE core book, and some of the AoR book. I've mocked up a quick character here but I obviously don't know how viable it is. I'm completely open to changing anything and everything about the character, or just remaking entirely. It was mostly an exercise for me to nail down some of the basics. I'd much prefer non-jedi stuff, the normal guys always interested me more than the whole good or evil light or dark stuff. But if you can convince me, hey, I'll try it. About me: I'm a 21 year old college student, I have an EMT and pilot's license and am in school for an ATC degree. If you need that extra layer of realism to your medical checks or really want to nail the pilot-controller com chatter, I'm your guy. Times: I'll be in class one Tues/Thurs 2:30-7:30 CST (GMT-6). So I can do late-ish nights then. If you're interested in showing me the ropes of tabletop RPGs, but really, really don't want to play EotE, send me a message/post anyway. I'm a science fiction nerd, so I'm gravitating towards space/future stuff, but hitting people with swords can be fun too. Bear in mind that I have no actual experience, and limited podcasted, so it might be rough. I used to read WH40k quite a bit, so that's a possibility. Either way, toss me a pm and we'll move on to hangouts/skype/mumble/whatever voip you'd prefer. I'd prefer staying on my desktop which is webcam-less, but if it's a deal-breaker I can just migrate to my ancient laptop.
