Many mods given by items are not actually being factored into the rolls, and attribute values, specifically, dealing with spellcasting. Please for the love of Gygax, add Misc mod slots to skills, weapons, spells, saves, AC, Spell attack, and save DC. EVERYTHING. It would solve all the problems, and be a simple fix to execute.
