We're looking to start within two weeks, maybe sooner, just depends on how quickly we can get a party established. If we managed to get a full party then it'd probably be quite a bit sooner. As of right now, we have a Crusader and potentially another melee. The setting is sort of Forgotten Realms/Eberron-ish (bit of homebrew, but things like pantheons/enemies etc might be similar). Alignment-wise, things are pretty flexible/grayscale (similar to Eberron) but there might still be some limitations. Stat rolls are 4d6 drop lowest, reroll ones and roll as many times as you feel fair but there will be review/revision in some cases just for balances sake. All Wizards of the Coast books are allowed, some Dragon magazines are allowed, but again there might be review, restrictions, and balance changes with a couple things. Just as a summary, our current party consists of three: (Filler) - The DM is going to act as a sort of filler character to balance out the party where it's needed (say for some reason we don't have any arcane or divine caster, just to smooth things out) but he won't be making any kind of decisions for the party other than basic things like "Let's go sell our gear that we got!" and not "I THINK THIS PERSON MIGHT BE LYING ABOUT BEING OUR ALLY". Crusader - (Fighter/Paladin "tank" from the Tome of Battle Book of Nine Swords) One of the players is currently debating between a Druid or a melee class, and is likely going to go with a sort of melee/caster hybrid (think Eldritch Knightish) I'll be on skype pretty much all day today (Saturday) until like 9PM PST (hayes.grady.m) if you have any questions or want to discuss things further. :) *We're PST based but our schedules should be pretty flexible other than college classes.
