LFP D&D 3.5 Homebrew campaign "The Lifestone of River Calain". 3 slots open. (Time and Day open to consideration)

I'm setting up to GM a self-made 3.5 setting. Here's the description. Nearly an age ago, a group of three legendary adventurers traveled the world. They felled hoards of goblins, dined with Kings, and among other things - they protected the Lifestone of River Calain. But the heroes have been gone for a long time now, and it seems that the Lifestone has been stolen. The river is drying up, leaving the settlements along its shores to cripple and die. Prophesy says that it will fall to three unknown men/women to save the riverside commoners, and that these travelers will be the descendants of the three legendary adventurers of old. The Lifestone of River Calain will be following the story of these three descendants, as they find unravel the epic saga of their legendary ancestors. (D&D 3.5 - Only Player's Handbook Races) If that looks like something you would be interested in, reply here. I'm not looking for minmaxers or dungeon crawlers, this will be a roleplay heavy game. There will be lots of combat and encounters, but a desire to participate in a legitimate story is required.

Sounds great, I like the emphasis on roleplaying instead of minmaxing. (Also general vibes of "good" party, which seems rare in the days of everything being grimdark and whatnot.) Which timezone are we looking at here?
I have had more experience Live Action Roleplaying than any tabletop D&D game.  If skype will be used, xDeathxDroidx is my screenname, hit me up for anymore info.

I am quite interested! However, I can only play on Monday's at 7:00pm EST to 11:30pm EST. I have seven years of heavy role-playing experience, as well as, several years of 3.5 D&D experience. Let me know if this works for you! Here are some basic questions I have for you: Starting character level? Starting character gold? Character creation rules (besides class)? How long would we play for? Would we be using Skype? Using Google Hangout (prefer roll20)?
I am greatly interested. I have LOADS of experience playing 3.5 and have many good character ideas. would love to be considered for this campaign.  PM me if you want further details on my background or my character ideas =)
For those of you who asked - Eastern Time Zone, I'm in Michigan. Feel free to use any race and class from the Player's Handbook. I don't actually own any of the advance books except for the core ones, so I can't moderate them - sorry guys. Starting character level will be three, I feel like skipping the early game. This would at least explain how you all survived until you met. Assign your attributes from 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8. I have a little encounter planned just for "getting to know eachother" purposes, where you will play as the ancestor heroes (prefabricated characters instead of you real ones) and your individual performances in the encounter will decide your character's starting gold. I'd like to use mic - but I'm open on method. Let's do a roll call on what everyone is feeling. As for time, I'm fine with Monday 8-10 if that's possible. (And I am going for a more positive party vibe, so that's right on point! Its been a LONG time since I DM'd so I want you all to know up front that I take some time to WD40 my rusty knowledge of particular rules.)
im down for this campaign, i am in the eastern timezone and am able to play on thursday nights and anytime on fridays
I am good with mic and mondays. Shooting you a character Idea in a PM soon
I think we are looking at weekdays right now, so that would be excellent, but as for the books - i'd prefer if you stuck with the PHB. I simply don't feel I have the time to investigate and incorporate more books, I'm going to stick with what I remember. So we have 1 vote for no mic, any other votes?
Ah a vote for mic. That makes it even as of right now.
Sure, sounds just fine.
I'm interested in joining this campaign, if you're still looking for another person to round out the party. I'm available in the evenings on most weekdays, after 6:30 usually being pretty safe. I've only played a couple of games of D&D before, but I really enjoy getting to play, and I'd love to be part of a more story-oriented game. Let me know if you're interested in having me!
I am interested in joining this campaign, I am new to the roll20 community but have some experience with with D&D from the past in personal campaigns before I found myself having to move for work. I can play every week night besides Monday for the next 4 or 5 weeks and then my Mondays free up. Let me know if you have room for another. Also I vote for mic., as I feel it would be more effective for communication.
Hey, I'm definitely interested and available to play. Have a mic. I am new to D&D though, but have been researching pretty avidly the for a while. Very interested and excited to try out my first game!
Hey guys, we are all full up on the campaign at the moment. Thanks for all the continued interest - I'll let you know if a spot opens up. Good tabletop gaming to you all!
Alright, so it looks like we have had a player drop. Any interest for a monday 8-10 est time slot? Looking for an enthusiastic 3.5 player - look to the top post for a description of the game.
