S3 Amazon images not displaying

Hello good people, as always I'd like to first apologize for my not-so-perfect English. Off we go: Is there a way to force a particular game to use different hosting/server for images? Like imgur? One friend in our group has a problem, because any image that's hosted on s3amazon is not displayed for him. Using google I found this is a somewhat common problem among people on the internet, and sadly there's no word about solution to it. And no, it's not just roll20, neither his web browser. Every site with images on this particular server is just pictureless, and yes, in every web browser there is too. So we'd like to solve it somehow... because of this we don't use tokens or any maps except for some easy, hand-drawn or made out of boxes custom shapes. So again: Is this possible to force our current game to use different image hosting site? Or maybe different solution?

I'm sorry your friend is having this issue, but sorry there is not a way to change where the images are retrieved from. All of our user uploaded images are stored on amazon. If your friend could try following the guide to Solving Technical Issues , especially step 4 if these don't fix it so I can get a better idea of what their issue is, that would be really helpful. Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

Hey, I'm sorry to say that this looks like it is outside of the scope of what we will be able to help with. It looks like it's an issue with your friends network, or issues with traffic through their Internet Service Provider. If I was them, I would call their ISP to try and get further help fixing the issue.
Getting something similar with us. https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/images/14979... Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) We're seeing this error. Why this ECS would return forbidden for these images, I don't know, but it seems that there's a network issue. I know its a longshot, but our DM is pro, he sees them, three of us who aren't are not pro. Could that have something to do with it?

Jeremy, the error you are seeing, the 403, is a because a particular image was deleted from the uploading player's library and no longer exists. This "error" is fine, it shouldn't cause any issues it's mostly just there for debugging purposes. Since this thread is basically concluded I'm going to go ahead and close it. If anyone has any further issues that we can help with you can feel free to open a new thread and we can handle it there.
