Hi There, My name is Jason (Tizzar) Skavlebo. I have been playing pen and paper roleplaying games for the last 20 years. I have these odd, old memories of killing kobolds in my cousin’s carport when I was in elementary school but I am really only counting the years I can strongly remember. I started my “journey” into roleplaying with AD&D, I moved onto Palladium’s RIFTs(which was great)and then onto Rolemaster which I really enjoyed. I have also had experience with HARN, Call of Cthulhu, HARP, World of Darkness and D&D 3.5. Today I find myself playing Pathfinder but I hold a special spot in my heart for Rolemaster. I have been on both sides of the screen during my 20 year stretch but now I just want to play. I have had a multitude of alter egos over the years and a few of them still stand out, Tizzar: My vampire paladin from a homebrew Rolemaster game that ran for about 2 years. Tizzar was in love with his goddess and would do anything for her. He was a bit of a tragic guy. This character holds a special spot in my character pool just because he was so well rounded with a huge backstory and a great roleplaying tale, the GM for this game was stellar. I think Tizzar finished his tale around 35th lvl. Marwreck: A Rahu-Man mechanic that like to work on large robots. This guy was pretty flat as characters go. Pretty much my first go at my own character creation from the RIFTS verse. I really didn’t get to play Mar that much but I totally pictured him driving some sort of Power Rangers mecha battling it out with the Coalition cause they didn’t like his kind! Ragnar: A Dwarf from the lands of middle earth who travelled to the lands of Shadow world. I inherited Ragnar from the NPC pool that the GM had. I got him at 12th lvl and played him up to 37th when the group broke apart. The GM still comment on how he would like to finish the game off. “Fingers Crossed” Char: A Half blue dragon elf ranger who liked to eat halflings but not hobbits. Char was my first ice cold evil character. She was a total bitch who liked to be in power. I get chills when I think about the cruel things she pulled off. Lots of fun. I ran Char with the Pathfinder rules Ron Red too tall: Ron is my newest character, he is a Gnome Wizard/Alchemist built with Pathfinder. Ron has bright red hair and stand at a staggering 3’8”. He loves blowing things up, magical constructs, gun powder, magic potions, blowing things up, magic rings, gun powder, poisons and his party pals. Ron is a total riot to play. Oh, did I mention that he wields a meat cleaver and like to blow things up? Anyways, this is getting pretty long and if you have read to this point thank you, I am gonna try and wrap it up. I am looking for a game to play in that runs Friday, Saturday or Sunday after 3 PST(I live in B.C. Canada in the Kootneys). I would prefer to play Pathfinder. I have found as I have gotten older that people have a hard time getting together in real life to play make believe. I am hoping to get together with some dedicated gamers and build some awesome characters and memories. If you are interested drop me a line. Thanks, Jason Skavlebo
