Speaking With The Council

This is a thread for players to speak to the council IN CHARACTER, and for the council to post laws and decisions.
Our first set of laws is in the works! anybody with specific ideas can post them here, or PM any of the councilors! your ideas will be spoken about by the council members, and may or may not be turned into permanent laws. Along with our laws, we are working on a set of missions and quests involving expanding our town, and preparing for future events via constructing necessary buildings. Everything we've been working on should be posted within the next month for your perusal.
Viggo aproches the councile in the town hall. Taking a deep breath,  Good day. I would like to inform the council that the barracks has completed construction. If you seek a force to uphold civilization we can be that.  A short pause. Please let me know if this will be needed so I can plan next month's construction .
Issachar strides in, hat in hand but looking very serious.   I have intentions to be gone for most of the month.  I kindly ask that y'all don't pass any laws I'll have to break when I get back.  This here is too wild a place still for much lawin'.  So don't go takin' this here Council to much to heart.

Kellen responds grimly, " This council is the only order in this land, and if it is to ever NOT be too wild you must take the laws we put in place seriously. They will be there to protect the people of our town from maniacs, thieves, and murderers. IF you so choose to break our laws, you will be given no lee-way. The punishment is the same for all, even you. I hope you don't find the need to do such a thing."
